I know in a lot of states spitting on it biting an officer and you have a serious disease that is an attempted murder charge.
Years ago, when my sister who was an RN received a dirty needle stick from an AIDS patient she immediately went to the ER and was given something called an AIDS cocktail and was tested consistently for several years but never did test positive.

On my first day up front on a register at Home Depot I saw a crazy meth head looking guy run out the doors with a large pair of hedge clippers he was stealing. The security was right after him and tackled him. The guy bit the security guard on the arm and he had to get all kinds of tests and shots. He had also stole batteries and was screaming help the whole time they drug him to the back till the cops arrived. I wish they still tackled thieves but now they just let them go.
