Actually the buxom foundation is supposed to be sheer... It's a light to medium coverage.

Yesss!!! I really want to know your opinion on it! I have such a bad time finding a foundation that won't wear off after 4 hours. 💜
I bought it a few weeks ago because I've heard so many great things about it...being full coverage, long lasting, etc...but honestly, I won't repurchase it again. It's nice, don't get me wrong...but I have oily/combo skin that is acne prone (and I'm 29 years old, by the way, lol) and the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation doesn't give me the full coverage, long lasting, and mattifying results I was hoping for. It can also settle into my fine lines a bit, too. Of course, this is just *MY* opinion, lol. I have been using the Estée Lauder Double Wear and Estée Lauder Double Wear Light foundations for over a year now...they both are way more full coverage, long lasting, and definitely stay matte WAY longer than the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation does for me. The Tarte Amazonian Clay is more of a medium to *ALMOST* medium-full coverage and doesn't last nearly as long (at the most, maybe a couple hours before I need to blot and about 4-6 hours before it starts wearing off my face, especially in my T-zone area). I've tried using this foundation with several different primers (Dr. Brandt, Benefit, Philosophy, Estée Lauder, Loreal, Garnier, etc...) and several different setting powders (MAC MSFN, Clinique Stay Matte, Makeup Forever HD, UD De-Slick Mattifying Powder, etc...) but none of them made it hold up or stay matte any longer, even when adding the UD De-Slick or All-Nighter Setting Sprays afterward. I've used all of these same primers, setting powders, and setting sprays with my ELDW and ELDWL, and they will hold up all day and night, as well as stay matte. I definitely use ELDW if I need my makeup to last "long term", lol...but for running errands, going to class, or just a few hours out, I'll use the Tarte one. I just thought I'd share this with you because I have the same problem with foundations wearing off of my face after just a couple hours. If you haven't tried these, you should definitely go get yourself some free samples and try them out to see which one looks/feels better and lasts longer for you...I know how much it sucks when you spend the extra $$$ for something that doesn't live up to your expectations, lol. Like I said, this is completely subjective and what works best for me might be the complete opposite for you...but still thought I'd share it with you since you're having the same problem I was...and I know Jaclyn has dry skin, so her results may completely differ from someone with more oily skin. I'm definitely sticking with my ELDW foundations over my Tarte Amazonian Clay one, lol. Oh! And by the way...Revlon Colorstay Whipped (in the jar) is an AWESOME full coverage, long lasting, and mattifying foundation for a drugstore option...it's also one of my other favorite "go-to's" and I think the whipped version is all-around *MUCH BETTER* than the oily/combo skin formula😊. Sorry for such a LOOOOOONG reply on your comment here, lol...but I do hope this helps you out a little!!!😊 💕Kelly💕
I don't like liquid foundations but sometimes my face need a little color in the winter. Love the Tarte Amazon Clay Airbrush foundation. Still trying to figure out the best brush to use with it, though. I use EcoTools brushes. I also use the Tarte finishing powder. It's the only powder I've found that keeps my face shine-free all day.

My fresh faced look is so fresh, I just took it out of the fridge. For me, it's either all out or none at all. I just choose different shades for day wear than night wear. For day time, I'll often not use gel liner, but will soften the upper lid line with a dark shadow blended out. I prefer corals on my cheeks in the day as well, like the Milani Luminoso, it's a perfect combination of sheen and color for daytime wear. However at night, I'll tweek my look and do the black gel liner. *Physician's Formula* brand has an awesome black gel liner that has sparse specks of gold glitter in it, like so sparse that you'll very likely only get one glitter on one eyelid. That way, if you _do_ get that one glitter speck, it's just somewhere across the lid and catches the light just so when you turn your head or blink. I like that as opposed to rolling my face in a pan of of glitter. During the day I use an eye brightening pencil in the inner rim of my lower lash line but during the night I choose deeper purples (for my green eyes). I will say however that it's hard as hell to back off the product when you get started. I get pulled into the zone easily and find myself dipping into dark shades for the corners and have to remind myself to back off. My best defense is to set the brush down immediately. If I don't put that brush down, that dark is going on my lid hahahaha.
*So why am I saying all of that? **_Because I got most of my beauty secrets from Jaclyn._* You'd be surprised how much tweeking you can do to a makeup regimen (which started 30-something years ago) when you watch a young makeup guru who knows all the most recent tips, trends, and products and is good at what she does. I sincerely appreciate my Jaclyn!

Jaclyn, I have very VERY watery eyes so my eyeshadow and eyeliner never last more than 1 hour and then it's soo messed up! It's mostly just on the outer corners but it is really frustrating me. Right now I am using UD Eye primer potion and I set all my makeup with a setting spray. I feel like I've tried it all but nothing works ): What would you suggest me to do? I also use a waterproof eyeliner:
