@@dnegel9546 my calves are not really bad and I'm not even training that much lately, and when I was i usually used to do upper body cause I could barely do leg once a week (seriously, I don't know how some people train legs 3x a week), I got them biking through the hills of my town when I was little.
I'm pretty sure that I can get calves like his quite easily since legs has always been easier to build muscle for me even though training them once a week

as a dude with 'genetically blessed calves' that's actually it. When I ran I used to over-use my calves and get aches in the wrong spots but my calves were worked hard.
Also I walked a lot as a kid. You develop a lot of potential in your youth.
Then also when I do bent over barbell rows the muscles which get the biggest pump and doms after wards are my calves! Not my back, not my hamstrings - but my calves get the most blood flow.
So the key is to just have really bad mechanics and your calves will grow. or to increase muscle recruitment via awareness exercises ;P
I do calf raises as well - but I really feel them out... I can do them like three different ways where as most people only feel if they are going up or down. It all matters... feel the load distribution

After 18 I built my upper body up but my legs are still my best feature (followed by arms) because I still walk everywhere on top of hitting heavy leg days. Chest is my weakest area.

The last guy with the “genetic” calves also looks like his arches are flat in the footage of him with his shoes off. My husband also has huge “untrained” calves, but also has this flat-footed, fallen foot arches too. There is probably a connection between the two, as the calves develop because of the chain reaction up the leg that the flat arches creates. I wonder if a strength or fatigue test between the 3 men in calf strength would show interesting results. I wonder if the big calves are compensation for a weakness in the foot.
Anyone out there want to add to this anecdotal evidence? I’m interested to know.

Holy I did not even think of that!
