Bad driving is everywhere now it is a scourge in today's society. These muppets think they are good drivers not learning from their mistakes .most of them need their licence taken away and banned for life . Im a proffessional driver and im appalled at what i have to put up with on a daily basis
I cant stand driving in Basildon (btw I live in Brentwood since the age of 6 and I've got ASD), around Laindon is fine but it's basildon I cant stand driving. People cut you up very quickly, people dont bother to say thank you after you give them away. 3 weeks after I passed my driving test (I had a p plate on my car for 6-8 weeks just to get my confidence on the road with other drives and I was 19 this was almost 3 years ago) after I came off that roundabout (first exit) as you were going to toward multi store car park and mayflower/pitsea, I checked my mirrors (btw I know how to get to basildon town centre but I was trying to remember where the parking is because my mum has parked outside car park were that old american diner use to be and multi store) I indicate onto the right hand lane go toward multi store car park, this woman behind horn at me (obs it is ok to make mistakes) and I gave her a finger which I shouldnt done because that could end up worse and I dont want to get stabbed. By the traffic lights this guy in the van had his hazard lights on and then that woman in 4x4 ford horn at me aggressive (btw it was right after that woman who horn at me) and then I drove around this white van and then she horn at me again aggresively I was panicking I was and I did break down. As I drove inside of the car park I went into the car after I tried to park up and that woman in bmw witness that I was getting stressed and having a breakdown after being picked by two women drivers and thank goodness the parked car I went into wasnt damage and thank goodness the woman in the bmw has calm me down and she said to me that people shouldnt horn at you even tho you haven't long passed your driving test. It is not just basildon, that goes with anywhere that people should respect new drivers and learners (esp young drivers), I havent drove into basildon town centre since. I do need to get over it, I will try to drove into basildon town centre again and I will ignore the bullies on the road. I just had fears of going into basildon and I dont feel safe driving in basildon, I just need to be a strong positive girl when driving in basildon and even anywhere and don't let my driving get me down. Don't get me wrong I know we all are not perfect human beings, I feel like not that people around that area were not brought up with respect, having manners etc, both of my parents and my nan have brought me and my siblings up with a lack of respect, manners and being polite esp towards elders.
There one speed in basildon and thats fast .no-one waits at junctions and they have to get in front as for parking no respect you have to drive as you know what they are going to do no using indicator s .
