It's pf course a shame but the gravely and high nature esepecially for a male voice can be really hard so i think they autotuned it so he could vocally support/Survive each performance
@@mrflibble5203 It's not even that, this was one of this first performances after rehearsals, it was never autotuned during any performances and was only autotuned in post for the DVD.
My favourite performers in this version are definitiely the "villains"; Caiaphas and Pilate. Though Pilate is very conflicted, and Caiaphas even has some sympathetic/justified tropes.
