I love that wallpaper!!! What a great idea I have an old dresser and that looks like something I could do. It was my grandfathers and then my mother used it to put her material for quilting in it so it has a lot of memories so thanks for the tip. The baskets, books, even the wooden clothes hangers.. the beeswax candles, so much texture, it feels home spun yet sophisticated simultaneously.. I am with you on a neutral color palette for your home! When I decorate with color, I quickly get sick of it within a couple of years and end up totally redecorating. It's expensive! With neutral colors, I add texture, move things around, and, voila, the room looks completely different. I also get sensory overload with too much color and it makes me feel anxious and moody. A neutral color palette is calming and helps me relax. I love Iris June's nursery! I love the bat pennants. I was called Bat Girl in college because of a paper I did on bats for one class. I learned everything I could about those amazing flying mammals! They eat bugs that would otherwise destroy crops, spread disease, and devastate forests. In my parts of the world, they pollinate fruit trees and plants. Vampire bats' have anticoagulants in their saliva to prevent the blood from clotting, making it easier for them to lick it up (vampire bats do not suck!). Desmoteplase is an anticoagulant genetically engineered from vampire bats' draculin (cool, huhj) anticoagulant that is used in humans to thin blood. Bats only have 1 to 2 babies a year and their skeleton is very human-like in its structure with their 4 fingers and thumbs. They are awesome creatures!
