I have the BRZ and it is perfect for the twisty coastal roads near my house. So fun! I’d be willing to wager I’d keep up with most cars on curvy roads. If you need straight line speed, this probably isn’t the vehicle for you. But if you want something, that’ll put a smile on your face every time you get behind the wheel and take it through a corner get one.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I don't have experience with Audis, so I take your word on that. I only mention this as an FYI for other people who want a long term 86/BRZ daily driver: if we're only changing oil once a year and our Subaru engine dies, we can't blame the car.
@@jaron95 That’s with any car. My dad has 150K on his 4 runner, one oil change a year over that time. Not changing the oil won’t kill the engine, but it’s routine maintenance that needs to be done.
Very similar in a lot of ways. Miata has the fun roof off experience. 86 is a bit stiffer and more fun to slide the tail out. Miata is much softer. So similar but different.

Oh no I totally agree I just got the GR86. So it's definitely a great car but I don't think it's fair to compare to the Supra The super is amazing car especially the 3.0 now if you compare to the 2.0 then that's little different. However they are both fun and amazing cars
im around 18 and im paying about $1400/yr with a $500 deductible for a ford edge sport, 100% look into a new company that is pretty odd. shop around as they like to screw you over after a while if you stay too long, we've been with like 3 companies now

Well Toyota had a small part in the inspection of the engine to make sure it's reliable. But inherently its not quite as reliable as a real Toyota would have been
@@BrosFOURRSpeed yeah Toyota still had to put their seal of approval on the engine before selling it lol also, there was a 1st gen that hit 500k miles, and ive seen plenty 150k-200k+ in good condition and heard of a few still kicking at 300k, all on og engine and trans. Take care of it and it'll live long, i dont see why everyone thinks its a mobile grenade

Once a year or 10K miles. Been doing that for 15 years. Full synthetic oil. Tons of manufactures suggest that and it’s perfectly fine.
