So, I work for Dark Horse and have talked to an editor who worked on the Star Wars line back in the day. Stackpole’s X-Wing series worked exactly how you described. He would write the treatment/outline, and the more seasoned comic writer took care of the script. It’s how most celebrity-backed comics work, too. Keanu Reeves had an outline for Brzrkr, for example, but Matt Kindt took care of the actual script. Spot on, mate.
I really enjoy your videos. Never really cared for star wars but your enthusiasm shines through. Always a pleasure to hear someone speak passionately about something they love.
The old X Wing novels, especially those penned by Aaron Alston were among the best of the old Expanded Universe. They would have made for amazing films or a series. Warlord Zsinj would have been incredibly awesome on screen.
Oh man-once again, you have uncanny timing with my personal interests haha. I *JUST* downloaded the GameCube sequel since I never played it. I was a huge fan of the N64 for original. Excited to watch this!
I love a bit of synchronicity! Let me know what you think to the video. And absolutely send the sceptics my way. Hmmm, a video about the politics which influenced Star Wars maybe?
The Warrior Princess is apparently retelling the rumours of Anastasia Romanov's survival in the Russian revolution. I'm not informed enough myself on Russian history to notice this, but Chris Kempshall points it out in his book on the history and politics of Star Wars.
Will you ever do another judge dredd video?, and if you do can i recommend you do judge dredd origins or the judge dredd/strontium dog crossover "judgement day".
Hello! I have two Judge Dredd videos planned for the new year, so yes! I'll definitely do Origins one day, but I've got some other ideas I'd like to cover before I get there :D Thanks for commenting!

Ha, that's great! It did feel like that was the case, and I feel all warm and fuzzy that I guessed it right. I'd love to be an Ideas Guy!

I really appreciate that! I'm glad that you're not a fan, but you watch anyway. A true connoisseur!
This was wonderful! A fantastic exploration of the series.
Many thanks, my friend. We've got more incoming too
Excellent video as always, love your content, editing, stylings, cadence and passion.
Thank you so much, my friend xxx

My friend. Come back in a week and you'll see a video right up your street! ❤
@@MattyStoked I shall and look forward to it. Dare I to hope for a special on the Imperial Warlords of the old Expanded Universe?
That's a really good idea. Nobody watches this stuff anyway lmao

Also: I’m gonna link people to this video whenever they claim “Star Wars isn’t/was never political.”

Can you even imagine how amazing a Star Wars film by Patty Jenkins would be? Like, actually, how damn amazing! More women in Star Wars, dammit!!!
She's a really gritty director. I'd have loved to see her takes, especially in an arena which is quite male-saturated.

Fantastic insight! There's always more to read into and get out of our books and comics. Thanks for an enlightening comment, mate!
