Sound design is so insane on this whole album. I've always loved Noisia, but ever since I've got myself some synthesizers and gotten in to sound design I'm just constantly mind blown when I hear this album. Everything is so absolutely perfect, the textures, the way they mix and master it... I have no words.
This song has some really special beauty in it i think. Like every sound in the track has its 100% perfect place to my ears, i can hear every damn synth and instument in it completely separately, but at the same time the whole music feels like some kind of creature, a form of life. And the sounds are the parts of its body. This is not music anymore, this is much more:)
lolivillain, this game is AMAZING. The concept looks stupid, I know, but the real joy comes from climbing its MASSIVE skill gap. By massive, I literally think its 100 times bigger than Call of Duty's "skill gap". Trust me, there are things you'll see the pros do that you didn't even think was possible. Rocket League has one of the longest learning curves, not a steep one.
(Scroll down for TL:DR version) Checked the game out and it doesn't look like the skill _ceiling_ is as high as a game like Rocket League. The skill ceiling/cap is when the point in which the game's mechanics prohibit the absolute smartest, fastest minds in excelling further. In Rocket League, the skill ceiling is pretty much unthinkable since there are so many skills to learn: Boost management, flying, using your opponent's momentum against them, ricocheting the ball off the wall, redirecting the ball yourself utilizing its momentum, keeping the ball bouncing, faking your opponents which is pretty much a checkmate situation, putting your opponents into those checkmate situations, field positioning/player rotation, kickoffs, controlling how hard or soft you hit the ball, forcing the ball between two surfaces to generate a 'pinch' effect and send it flying, reading your opponents' moves, etc. Everything I listed requires time and patience to learn. In the beginning, during Rocket League's predecessor "SARPBC", the community literally didn't even know half of this stuff was possible, years into the game. *TL;DR* In Chivalry, it looks like if you can aim good, cooperate, and play the objective, the skills end there :/ Am I wrong? Are there things in the game the pros can do that you legitimately didn't think was possible?
This is one of the best-produced tracks I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Right up there with Chime - Escapism and Mr. Bill x Frequent - Hilbert's problems. also, THAT INTRO
Rifleman Because is dumb to release a full song before the album comes out, only case when it's acceptable is when it's the main song (collider in this case, it can be found full version)
So heavy and messed up this broke my brain when it came out still gives me goosebumps to this day one of noisia finest examples genuienly cant imagine who id be without noisia
Question. On the Vision Recordings store, why is a WAV copy of the album more expensive than an MP3 copy? I love Noisia but that seems a little cheeky.
TheDefector I'd say that not WAV version is more expensive but the MP3 is cheaper, you know, in case you aren't able to tell the difference between the two you can buy the cheaper one.
inchypi A high quality 48kHz 24-bit stereo WAV recording of an album lasting approximately 80 minutes would occupy approximately 1.3gb worth of storage space. There are SD cards on the market that hold vastly more than that never mind the multiple terabyte hard drives that exist on the market these days. The increase in file size from mp3 to WAV alone hardly warrants the increase in cost associated with purchasing lossless audio files. And please remember that when a file is purchased off a server that file does not disappear off the server, it is copied. Meaning there is no requirement to store multiple files for purchase on a server. As far as I can tell, and given the lack of a convincing argument otherwise, the practice of charging more for lossless audio seems to simply be price-gouging. Especially given that MORE work is needed to create the mp3 file in the first place. The native file type that a producer would initially export from their DAW is a WAV file, so to charge more for it cannot be said to be the result of increased labour or production costs. As far as I can tell there is no reasonable argument for this practice whatsoever.
I wonder if they made this using some kind of analog gear or it's all purely VST's, cause if it's so damn ,they did a good job on making these sounds sound so analog.
Again, too much variety ... I would use the word "disjointed", it's all over the place. Settle down to a common groove/beat/melody whatever guys This sounds more like one long sound effect than a song.
when they dropped this at Let it Roll last weekend on the main stage nobody knew how to even dance to it, incredible work from noisia
best comment I've seen in months, cheers.
@@moonringer3899 Best reply I have seen in years
this is basically a big middle finger to all producers.. untouchable attention to detail, synthesis, arrangement, you name it. these guys are monsters

1:49 brought me back to the Hardcore and House of the early 90's that inspired music we all love nowadays. Noisia knows how to bring a great homage.
Completely agree
At the same time I feel like Noisia is one of relatively few that isn't stuck the many standards we have to put up with in electronic music.
Twan Slegers
Those rave stabs:D

This song reminds me of grandmas lemon cheese cake, she always you to play this when we used to eat it...

A video clip for this song will be perfect
A video clip fits with any good music.

Perfection. Fucking playing Rocket League along side that....... fucking perilously brilliant.
So brilliant its dangerous??
I'm so shit at that game, even Noisia can't help me from rage quitting
+DNB MATE! it gives a sense of how intense it is...

I really do love this song Noisia. I wish it were longer.
This is one of the best-produced tracks I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Right up there with Chime - Escapism and Mr. Bill x Frequent - Hilbert's problems.

Very, VERY GOOD track :D cant wait to buy the full album, keep the GOOD work Noisia.
absolutely stunning.
Absolutely sick
very different and loving this track and liking the style
Best from great album!
This song has one significant flaw: it's too short.
full version is never uploaded to youtube
The Spotify and Soundcloud versions are exactly the same length.
Rifleman Because is dumb to release a full song before the album comes out, only case when it's acceptable is when it's the main song (collider in this case, it can be found full version)
REWIIIIIINNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD
lol this is the full version. collider is actually different from youtube to the album.

So heavy and messed up this broke my brain when it came out still gives me goosebumps to this day one of noisia finest examples genuienly cant imagine who id be without noisia
Wow that's amazing! ._.
This is absolutely beautiful! This album is fireee!
Crazy good, serves as a nice B-side to Tentacles. This whole album is phenomenal.

Noisia looks on fire with this album!
It's an album, not an EP.

DaFake47
Happy to seem them do one.
Split the Atom was wonderfully experimental.
Split the Atom was pretty good too
SO GOOOD
Definitely like this one more than Tentacle.
this one's so dope guys nice one
Sick AF
very good
Noisia's most recent releases are literally fucking killing me.
Love the fucking sound design :D
Can we get a Noisia and Savant duo.
no.
Dubstep is so good!
Tyler St. Amand - it's not dubstep
Can you please explain why, other than the fact that it is made by guys who typically make dnb?
atmospheric, like the new style
This drumwork is just excellent C:

TheDefector I'd say that not WAV version is more expensive but the MP3 is cheaper, you know, in case you aren't able to tell the difference between the two you can buy the cheaper one.
Probably because of increased server costs because the WAV version's so much bigger. Most sites charge extra for lossless downloads.

My fave of the album ATM..... that could totally change tho :D
This is fucking Phenomenal!!!!!.
Amazing album so far. ONLY complaint is the length of the tracks being too short. It's a shame too, cause they are astounding to another level!
easy 6 - 7 mins more of this
When it sayd OH I felt it
This reminds me of my uncles dog!
loop mode on
Reminds me of tron soundtrack.
I wonder if they made this using some kind of analog gear or it's all purely VST's, cause if it's so damn ,they did a good job on making these sounds sound so analog.
Probably a combination of both. Thijs has modular gear that he plays with on his instagram. They also use serum, which can sound really analog
Music that would give a victorian kid psychosis, and i love it
this really reminds me of the classic Jungle Book for some weird reason xD
Got the same sick vibes as Tommy's Theme.
nice, bruh ^ ^
Awesome track but reminds me a lot of Feed Me - Patience. Not that it's a bad thing, just that the melodies are very similar.
I love this, it sounds like Feed Me on heroin
Ten outta fuckin' TEN
anyone can recommend me others songs like this one? I'ts been looping in my head for days, mainly cause Ive been playing it on repeat.
5+
the song itself i dont particularly like, but the feeling I get when keeping the title in mind, combining title and song, is perfect.
We were entangled 😂
not funny didnt laugh
Doesn't sound much like Noisia anymore, but it's damn good.
What did Noisia sound like?
*****
I think the sound that Noisia has is basically:
incredibly good production.
