Boarding House Basal

Today we will show you an old historical building that resides in-front of Basal RailwayStation Attock.
According to the writing on the building, this building was built as a dharam-pura which was built by the wife of Bhagat Singh Narain Dass on his memory, they belong to "Thatta" village.There is big old Bargad tree in the lawn of this building.
This Dharam-pura was built before the creation of Pakistan.After 1947 this building came under Basal College, it was school back in the time. Being only school in area, students and teachers from far areas used to live in this building.
It has more than 12 rooms, some have fallen.It has only door and that is the main door to enter the building, it opens towards the Basal railway-station.
With the passage of time, more school opened in different areas and traveling got better and with that use of this building came to an end. Now this building is now dilapidated.
