    Eu queria transforma violão em baixo m3 de uma dica mas eu queria deixar as cordas do violão mesmo por causa eu gosto do som do agudo que as cordas D e G faz não muito grave

    First cover I don't like from you is not the Aston sound, the best in Bob Marley covers is
    Paul Martshell Bass

    Hi Tom, Thanks! I hear the tempo as being half as fast as your notation. Did you have a particular reason for that (assuming I'm correct.)?

    • @basscination
      @basscination  2 роки тому +1

      Reggae Grooves are Halftime Grooves. The backbeat is on beat 3.

    • @gmtgsong4635
      @gmtgsong4635 2 роки тому

      @@basscination Thanks for explaining that, Tom! I assumed the snare was 2 and 4 like most rock beats.

    This Video is great to play along but your playing sometimes differs from the tabs. It actually fits better the way you're playing it ;)

    • @basscination
      @basscination  5 років тому

      Wasn't aware of that. No matter, I had definitly fun playing that bassline.

      @@basscination Hi Tom...I agree with Martin. I can hear that you are adding another note from 1m.28......I think it is an extra A2 before you hit D4 (Tab form) This occurs after the double A2 ...so you have 3 A2's then jump to D4...OR.....you are hitting a double D4 after the 2x A2's ..It's hard to tell.....Take a listen. I also agree it sounds better that way....Les

    the notes are right, but theres something weird with the groove

    • @basscination
      @basscination  2 роки тому

      The groove is a reggae groove called "Stepper". Like all reggae grooves it's a halftime groove with the backbeat on beat 3 rather than 2 and 4, counted twice as fast as a rock groove. While the "One Drop" only has one bassdrum together with the backbeat on beat 3, the "Rocker"-Groove has bassdrums on beats 1 +3 and the "Stepper" has bassdrums on all 4 beats of the bar. Could You be Loved is played with the Stepper-Groove on drums.
