Away days like that are crucial to the work rebuilding this club. To come away with a match result like that is excellent. What a team. Credit the passion Jim challenges that fixture and his players' welfares, too. Best of rest & luck the ELL!
First and foremost wishing EEL a speedy recovery, credit where it's due tactically Big Jim got it right today he shuffled the pack up top hopefully he's twigged that Devante and Kairo aren't at their best as a pair up top, special mention for Ferguson he came on unexpectedly and didn't put a foot out of place, super goal by McBride, it won't be too long before Beckwith is attracting interest from above and beyond, Allarakhia top man for me, well done to the players, well done to Big Jim and a special well done to the 140 + who travelled !
Watched the game on TV. You can’t under estimate how much traveling take it out of you! Jim is right, Tuesday Saturday Monday is madness, so expectations were low! After a dull slow first half (expected) we dug in, created chances, we’ll done to all 👍⚽️
Ultimately Ebanks should've been covered in summer by a new signing but he wasn't. Max Taylor, George Nevett and Cameron John all left the club, who replaced them? Beckwith and who else? Time to look for an experienced centre-half now, as one was needed even with a fully fit Ebanks
Jeez he doesn’t does he? I can never get past 2 minutes of his interviews so I won’t hear it …btw these are young healthy athletes who “ work” 4 hours a day , with physios , nutritionalists masseurs available when required so the schedule thing will never wash with me , from any manager not just Jim , it always seems like an excuse ..get on with it ! you guys have the best job in the world …aside from that , great end to the game yesterday hope Ethan recovers speedily …
