Imagine in 10 years:
"I unplugged someone's life support to see how long they survive PRANK!"
i think we dont have to wait long, pranksters are already stupid enough to pull off that sht
From the fact that people are robbing banks for UA-cam views is making me concerned for humanity in the next decade.
As a store manager, he should have been arrested. We have Security in our stores that would have stopped him and police called. Let him explain the prank to the police. If you use the line "I am going to pay for it", after the tills, you can't pay for it
There was some UA-cam prankster a few years ago whose "prank" was pretending to mug a complete stranger with a fake gun. But unbeknownst to him, his victim of choice was packing heat. So as you can predict, he was shot dead and the guy wasn't charged since he legitimately thought his life was in danger. Even the dead guy's family wasn't upset with the shooter.
I know a guy died but w I can’t see useful part in society if the person is calling these “pranks”
This is just straight up dangerous.... He does know we live in a country that holds the most firearms in the world right?
I mean we definitely do but as a Firearms owner myself in the state of Colorado it would not be a Justified shooting. No actual threat was committed and no violence was committed. But then again not everybody who owns a gun follows the law
@@VapeTime79 A guy comes in with a ski mask and a fake gun to rob the store and there's no threat? Lol moron.
I was thinking the same thing when August was listing possibilities of scenarios with only 3 people being aware it's a prank. I just imagined the stereotype clerk pulling out a shotgun lol.
The first store I believe he truly did rob. The second store I think he knew the owner ( or employee) as they are laughing when fighting for the backpack. If they didn't know him I would imagine they would have had a look of anger, but maybe they are just more forgiving then me lol.
@@VapeTime79ya but it doesn’t matter if it’s justified since all it takes is one irresponsible crazy gun owner that’s been tipped to the edge and doesn’t care about if he’s gonna get arrested
Imagine robbing a store, posting the evidence on UA-cam and not getting arrested for it?
Seriously crazy what’s going on nowadays.
In the mean time some other youtuber got 5 years in prison for selling pictures of gun parts, because the ATF thinks metal cards with pictures on them is the same as a machine gun, and a jury agreed with them at trial.
@@Vincent_Beersyup and the fbi tried to make them work but they never would work because the dimensions were off. To them a bump stock is a machine gun.
“As a society we need to bring back public shaming.” Bingo.
i feel like basic bullying is a necessity. nothing too harsh, just something to make people not feel invincible and turn out like That
I mean, when someone does something like this it means that they don't think they can get attention and validation any other way.
It's why parents who spank their kids when they do something wrong actually incentivize the kids to do bad things because, in the kid's mind, Mommy and Daddy only pay attention to them when they mess up and they scream at them and spank them. It's actually why people actually enjoy being spanked.
So, what August is doing is spanking the child while we cheer him on and say "Yeah! Spank the brat! In fact, I'll spank him too, we'll all spank him," and that's exactly what they want.
It's why when Tanner Cook was literally shot his takeaway was "It was worth it to get thousands of subscribers."
That worker, he wasn’t angry, just disappointed.
Oh how I love it when people do crimes and post it on social media just to get an ounce of attention.
This takes the phrase “Attention is one hell of a drug.”to a whole new level.
For real. Literally America’s dumbest criminals. Forget about being told on. These dorks rat themselves out. 😅
You will still get charged with armed robbery if you use a fake gun.
Watching these people "prank" others makes me lose faith in humanity, but hearing others roast the heck out of "pranksters" gives my faith back.
I hope they get arrested. In fact, from finding out where a video was filmed and edited, you can find out where these guys are.
It's called EXIF data.
People have no idea what the work prank means anymore. They used to be funny and harmless, now they're crimes. What's next, hijacking a plane and saying "it's just a prank bro" after endangering frick knows how many lives? 😔
These people ain’t even just playing pranks no more. This is straight up committing actual crimes 😭
I am so grateful that I live in such a small community full of so many old people that I've never had to deal with someone shoving a camera in my face
Right? I've seen the dead behind the eyes expression of customers getting harassed by thots for tiktok views, and you know that person has had to deal with that for a while
I remember when a prank was pulling on a piece of fake gum and getting shocked. Honestly, if something happens to this prankster as a result of pulling a prank on the wrong person, I say good riddance. These "pranksters" need to learn that there's a difference between pranking someone and a criminal act.
I think even most 11 year olds would know robbery is an actual crime
@@Aging_Casually_Late_Gamer Uhh- I Care, And I'm 14, Only 3 Years Older, I Care, I Believe Crimes Shouldn't Exist.
Doesn't matter if it's a fake gun you will still be charged with armed robbery.
Not if it's a high crime area with a clogged docket of actual criminal cases, then the judge "might" let him off with a warning, but if the video went viral then it'll incentivize them the go after him since they'll look good in the press by going after a nuisance.
I had to skip the footage of him robbing the store due to the insane amount of cringe I felt watching it
coming from a black person, i hate when our own people do stupid shit like this because it feels like a stain on the community. racism is still very prominent today and when one of us messes up and does something dumb, it feels like another reason for racists to think we're bad people. but that's just my personal take
exactly! its already bad enough that racsist idiots think its okay to hate us for something we have np control over but people like him doing this helps no one. im not saying he should be a model citizen but is it too much to ask for him to idk be fucking letsplayer if hes going to run a UA-cam channel or something thats not going to potentially get him locked up/killed and add fuel to racists fires
Yup. Although I know it's nowhere on the same level as what you experience, as a feminist I feel the same way when I see a woman acting like a Karen or a Tumblrina. People already get the wrong idea about what feminism is and have a lot of hatred towards it and even women in general, and conkwockets like that are only causing that hatred to grow.
I'm genuinely sorry for any racism you've had to endure. I will never understand that garbage, there's literally nothing different physically between us except for skin tone. I do not understand why that causes some smooth brains to hate others.
I was thinking the same thing. Especially for our boys. That could have went wrong very quickly 🥺🦋
I'm Black too. It rankles. This guy can get himself killed doing this. Also it is annoying for folks to act like all black people are crooks. So annoying
That’s dumb and isn’t considered a prank. That’s just straight-up robbing.
It's just a prank bro. I know I stole a bunch of stuff but it's OK because it's a prank
It's the same excuse your bully gave to the teacher at school, "it was only a joke", "I was only playing on", "It was only a prank".
The excuse my bully gave in early elementary for choking me to the point of an asthma attack.
@@flatpigeon9349 "zero tolerance policy" my butt. Why is it, when we actually fought back, WE were the ones with detention, suspension etc?
@@zoa1-99....... I was sitting in my class w/ my friend, we're both weird and neurodivergent, but these guys were actually harrassing us in middle school and the one time I raised my voice at them, telling them "Just shut up" I got in trouble. It was 8 TEEN BOYS BARKING AT US LIKE WHAT?! Oh, don't worry, I left asap and I'm doing online public school. That was tame in comparrison to this one guy but the school actually suspended him, not for being creepy towards afabs, but for setting the bathroom trashcan on fire. It was a small private school of like 200 in the middle school so yeah... oh, and most people were queerphobes. I'm doing great online with the public school system now and my social anxiety has improved.
@@flatpigeon9349 Great to hear you're doing better. Jesus, God, is the one who helped me through those times as well. Just pray to him (It's Quantum Entanglement), and he'll help you further! He'll help you get that qualification if it's gonna help you out.
Another "prank" that's actually a crime. This level of stupidity is only getting worse. People need help .
That's people like the controversial TikTok nutter Mizzy in the UK causing havoc for clickbait and for views.
5:06 "Have a camera with you and they'll think its just a prank". That right there is the moment he outright admits this isn't a prank at all but he is simply robbing stores and the camera is just there so people don't shoot him while he robs them
Plot twist:
This wasn’t a prank and he genuinely was showing us how to rob a store.
Yeah but he had to label it as prank to avoid UA-cam taking it down lmao
Bro. This actually is a robbery. On UA-cam, for everyone to see and get him arrested for, not a prank.
Ah yes, the good old trick of committing a felony then saying it’s a prank
The putting trash in someone’s car “prank” would make me snap. He would get seriously injured
I wish people would acknowledge the camera during these videos. Would be funnier than the prank itself
@@okjeffy6581the problem is they aren't. Think we're out here saying these videos are incredible?
When I think of that I think back to JonTron's Skate Kid video where he reenacts a scene from the movie of giving proper directions and runs off laughing. The lady then looks at the camera and asks if he is with the cameraman. That scene is so well acted out I would honestly believe if JonTron stated that was a random stranger they filmed lol.
Using a even noticeably fake gun in the manner as a real gun, same charge, this is a violent felony
I swear I always accidentally stumble among his vids less than 10 minutes after he posts😂
You might want to watch higher quality content; the algorithm has clearly decided this is the type of content you would consume.
Bros literally robbing a store on camera.🤦♂️
A police's job is sometimes too easy 😎
Judge: Why did you kill a happy family of four?
Culprit: A prank😊
Judge: I see, NOT GUILTY
Its like 12 angry men but one guy in the Jury is like "Well it was a prank." And the rest of them just stare dumbfounded at the sheer stupidity of the statement.
The 2nd hand embarassment that the convenience store guy has to physically take each item out of his bag is very cringe.
You always gotta look friendly with the officers he says as he proceeds to look more like he just got done snorting some crack right here at 5:47 😂
Even the store owner isn’t taking it seriously haha, he wasn’t even trying to take it back
these "pranks" need to stop... it has gone too far a long time ago...
TikTok and Instagram has ruined a whole generation of cloutgoblins....
The target audience for these videos are people like me who don't see any of it and get the pleasure of seeing an August video about it
August the duck never fails to make my day better. Even if the video he is making is about someone doing stupid dumb things!
I remember the days when a prank was replacing the sugar in someone’s coffee with salt. Those were good times.
If UA-cam starts demonetizing
these kinds of videos, then we
won't see them anymore, its as
simple as that.
Scary thing is, the fact that these channels are monetized makes things even worse... With monetization, UA-cam has the information needed to get police to your door, but they don't... even as videos are flagged for criminal content.
These videos would still build their audience even if they are
demonetized sadly enough.
I’ve seen it time and time again. The most they’ll do is demonitize the channels that bring these issues to light until they get a big enough uproar to damage their PR. Only then will they do something.
Exactly, but UA-cam is too busy hunting down the thought-criminals who dare to say anything that goes against YT's woke political agenda.
About 4 years ago I was working at a smoke shop and I had a group of obviously underage gentlemen come in. They ended up knocking over three different racks of drinks and snacks and running out with about $300 worth of March. There are argument was it was all a prank. A long story short, I thought I was being vandalized and just clicked my floor button. People should be quicker about responding the craziness
@AbstractTraitorHero It opens up the floor, revealing a pool trap filled with sharks with lazer beams attached to their heads.
These pranksters are gonna get arrested and nobody’s gonna miss them.💀
@@poopoppycause UA-cam is messed up. They are protecting predators saying those that expose them are bullying
@poopoppy isn't that the son of sam rule where you can't profit off a crime?
My rule of thumb is that a prank is only consider a prank when everyone is laugh at the end. That is why you should always carry laughing gas when doing your pranks.
Jokes aside, please don't.
Prank idea: slippin a good ol roooooofie in your dates drink on the first date.
Pranked ya
Basically the same bs
I PROMISE this was the kid in school who thought like sitting on a trashcan makes him a bad boy and we ALL know it🤣
Robbing stores, banks, derailing trains, joking about bombs, acting like a fool in other countries, and then they all wonder HOW TF they are in the wrong
He should go try this in Pennsylvania where people can actually conceal carry…bet he wouldn’t think it was funny then
We need our own taser nowadays.
What he did in the video was shoplifting, if he would've said "Put your hands up" it becomes armed robbery even if it's an obviously fake gun.
It's armed robbery even not saying it. He pointed it at people in a threatening manner while committing a crime. At the very least it's a blunt weapon. It would also be justifiable if someone assumed it was real and felt fear. I can show you real guns that have been 100% disguised as toys and still lethal.
@@Vincent_Beers True enough. The first part he didn't interact with anybody but in the second part where he pointed it at someone that becomes armed robbery. Implying violence while in possession of pretty much any object is what makes it armed robbery. The weapon itself is basically irrelevant.
5:39 There's straight up gore footage on UA-cam though, not to even mention brainrotting content
So I wouldn't be surprised at all
Tbh, this is least damaging content this platform has to offer nowadays
I saw a whale explode because of this app. But then the next second I’m watching a blue rabbit monkey hybrid explain what skibidi means.
The youtuber that got shot, it didn't happen quite like August said, he left out details. The "pranker" was putting a translator up to this guys ear, the guy pushed the youtubers hand 2 away about 2 times, about 5-10 seconds later he pulled his gun out and shot at the lower half of the body
That was after he followed the dude inside so that's y he wasn't charged for the shooting if u attempt to walk away n harasser follows u self defense is allowed esp he pushed dudes hands away n he shot for center mass as any good gun owner does best survival rate
And the "prankster" learned absolutely nothing and seemed emboldened to harrass randos on video for views.
I’m 12 and he said he would find it funny as a 12 year old. I had a straight face this entire video
We need a civic service group to discourage this type of behavior.
Yeah its called jail. Sadly they arent locking these people up for doing this shit. If there's no consequences they'll just keep doing it.
Actual theft, on camera, easy arrest
"Pranks" are no longer pranks. It's so stupid. People like this need to be arrested.
I think it was pretty funny that the store owner is just taking the stuff back with ease and the "robber" is just kind of letting it happen
How to get 20 years in prison for robbing a store as a prank, and the judge won't believe a single word you say because you robbed right infront of about 10 cops
I think we need pandora to open that box again…
Licking ice cream and putting it back, is a felony.
It is, but you can at least understand why a dumb kid might not realize that. Compared to straight up theft, this is the more obvious.
@@Vincent_Beers oh for sure. It's why I personally always check everything I buy though. Check the plastic seal like say on a Tylenol bottle or if it doesn't have one I unscrew the cap and check the seal inside, any bag that can easily be opened etc. I don't trust anyone.
I once literally wrote the word "Gullible" on my ceiling just for a prank and the fact good old fashioned tomfoolery has been overshadowed by criminal activity makes my mad
it would be funny if the manager and employees were in on it
They are he pre pats for the items and tells them to roll with it or do something for the vid
If you tell an employee you want a fake gun to go rob a corner store, they're OBVIOULSY not going to tell you where they are and put their jobs on the line.
The poor employee who said "Again with you?" He was clearly fed up. What this idiot doesn't understand is that they don't take thieves very well and he seriously risked getting his ass beat severely with a broom handle. Cameraman also should've gotten an ass whoopin.
I'm actually not surprised by this at all. I'm just waiting for the day when the "prank" is grabbing some random dude off the street and beating the crap out of him. And then when the prankster is taken to court, his defense will be that it was a prank for UA-cam.
UA-cam is the LEAST “child friendly platform.” That’s for sure 😭😂👋🏻

Because it's not legal to respond. You'll be in more trouble than the thieves if you try to stop them.
Knowing what was going to happen in this video. I had to pause multiple times for a breather because I couldn’t bring myself to watch it. If we put the literal robbery aside it’s so over the top too
What a terrible thing to do!
More people will start catching lead if they keep doing these pranks, society is already on edge.
When a crime is committed, even without success of the actual crime, is still a reason for conviction. The reasons for it don't change the fact.
I have only ever found 1 youtube prank video entertaining. Mr Beast did a video with like a dozen stacked pizza boxes, went to peoples houses and asked if they ordered like a dozen pizzas. Then he literally gave them free pizza. Not only was it actually kinda funny, but he also actually gave them stuff after pestering them.
UA-cam pranks are literally becoming crimes. What's next? Shooting my neighbor 75 times prank? Stabbing my girlfriend in the neck prank? Digging a hole and burying 4 dead kids in my backyard prank?
