I was lucky enough to see them in Sofia, Bulgaria, 2 days before the lock down. Bloody lucky me! Loved the concert and hopefully will see them as soon as they get back on the road.
Poland is very artistic. It has the most creative tattoo artists, it has CD project Red, and many great bands. It's a small country and i guess not so rich like other european countries. But see? It has great culture
Personally I can't understand why they even stayed together as Riverside after he died. Piotr was the emotional conduit of the band and the core of the sound. The group is over. By all means, stay together and make music, just don't call it Riverside. For me, death of Piotr was the same as Jimmy Page dying and then Led Zeppelin somehow tries to go on as a three piece... yeah no.
I was lucky enough to have a beer with him in Syracuse, NY on their tour supporting S. O. N. G. S. I have a picture. Idk how to share it here though. It was a honor.
Have you listened to the full album? It's brilliant and the emotion is still there in places. The guitar did play such an important part in Riversides music but so do the vocals. For me anyway. This album is overall a great release and Piotr would no doubt be proud of them for it.
Maybe, just start your own band. So, you can decide how to react, if one of you fellow band members passes away. Don't you think that your personal opinion is totally irrelevant when it comes to coping with such a kind of loss? I would rather cut of my hands instead of typing such a kind of bullshit!!!!

After 5th watching I finally almost see the meaning. Three men walking it's own way. One of them was deaf, another was blind and third was speechless. All of them were followed by ghost (?) and when all of them gathered together all of their diseases were healed and this ghost dissapeared. I didn't quite understand ghost part, but... Is it dedication to Piotr somehow? They became cured after ghost finally released when they found each other. May it meant that they finally released Piotr and leave this part of their lives in past as it should?
I think it's the whole See No Evil, Speak No Evil and Hear No Evil thing. The dark cloud I guess represents evil in this sense. Now, why their ailments went away after they met is a bit unclear, but I guess that it can mean that, only together, unified, when they can neither see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil, can they truly be saved from it. The whole album has this whole post-apocalyptic we're-all-gonna-die feel, so this might make sense, idk
Piosenka jest jak cała płyta genialna. Już dawno nie zachwyciłem się żadną płytą, w morzu wtórności i odgrzewanych kotletów, świeżość jaka bije z albumu wręcz zapiera dech. Piękne sekcje melodyjne, mocne gitary, piękny czysty i melodyjny wokal. Brawo!
Obiecałem sobie, obiecałem ''posłucham za tydzień, gdy dostanę płytę'', lecz... po prostu się nie dało! Panowie, zwracam honor i kłaniam się w pas. Jeden z najbardziej emocjonalnych utworów RIVERSIDE. Szczególnie refren... porażające wołanie do ojca. I ja tak kiedyś wołałem. Bardzo ładna perkusja, bardzo ładna solówka, bardzo ładne wszystko.
Czy tu jakiś komentarz jest wymagany? Muzyka (czyt. Riverside) - to sztuka piękna działająca na nasza psychikę za pomocą dźwięków. Definicja z podstawowej szkoły muzycznej. O jakże trafna.
Agreed. I am going to wait until I hear each song to fully invest in the album, but each song that has been released thus far has been nice. In chorus it reminds me Anathema from late 90s and as he told me after one of Riverside concerts, Grudzien was a big fan of them. Beautiful song.
