      For a single side, its pretty obvious that the corners are trivial to fix and can be left for last. The rest follows from there.

      He's a speed cuber and this is not too different. Probably that is why.
      Learning what way to turn the pieces you want while minimal affecting the rest and using that to solve a puzzle. Is what he does. Especially with all the weired cubes. So it's natural that all this was easy for him

    For 5:42 this is the way it is. You always move the corner no matter what you do with the pins so the "brother" corners can't change direction. That would require for one of them to stop moving while the other is moving

  • @Xeridanus
    @Xeridanus 2 роки тому +13

    The corners must always match on opposite sides because each pin can only affect the four nearest clocks, but in each configuration (up and down) the corner moves because you're literally moving the corner.

    This rubik's puzzle in particular is honestly one that most people overthink, when all you have to do is move and match the "cross" (matched clocks) with the unmatched clocks by doing some somewhat simple pin combos. And then you're essentially done, just make sure you turn the corresponding dial to the pin(s) that are open, as to not mess up the other side.

      No his profile is a Jperm case on a 2x2

    J perm: has an average of 9 sec on a 3x3.
    Me: I'll never reach that level.
    J perm: my first timed solve was 4-5 min
    Me, who got 4::50 on my first timed solve: maybe after all, I have a chance...

    Someone should out a timer on the clock so the clock actually has the time on it
