Here are the latest RAF headlines, from 903 Expeditionary Air Wing at RAF Akrotiri:
- F-35B Lightnings from the legendary ‘Dambusters’ 617 Squadron arrive on the HMS Prince of Wales carrier for NATO Exercise Steadfast Defender, the largest military exercise in Europe since the Cold War.
- The RAF finalises its part in Exercise Spears of Victory, training alongside detachments from France, Greece, Qatar, the UAE and the US.
- A Royal Australian Air Force E7 Wedgetail has a pitstop at RAF Lossiemouth.
- RAF Cosford supports the Birmingham International Tattoo by parading The King’s Colour of Number 1 School of Technical Training and a field gun racing team.
- The Red Arrows announce their 60th birthday diamond anniversary campaign and upcoming tour of Canada.

@@gw2891 Why? The Imperial army was only 40,000 strong unless there was a major operation needed. The Army today is larger than the army of the british empire. That is what makes me laugh about these sort of coments.

"Service people"? I think you mean 'service personnel'.
'personnel' are 'people'. Or they were when i was in Crab Air.
Does anyone know about joining the RAF with asthma? I want to be a cargo pilot for the RAF in the future. I had my last asthma attack when I was 12 years old and then I was prescribed an inhaler also at 12 years old.
Go find a recruitment office and ask them about the medical requirements. You don’t say how old you are now.
