Hey lovelies,
I'm Rhian.
I'm a 20-something mama of two and I love baths, home decor, champagne (YUM!) and Insta stories.
I have two children. The first is my lovely Siena-Belle (Siena Isabelle, she's going to hate me when she's older) who was born in February 2016 and the second is our scrumptious little Alba Ophelia, born in July 2017. I absolutely ADORE being a mummy to two little girls.
I have an amazingly supportive partner named Steve, who, although he hates being in vlogs, supports me in everything I do and he just makes me go weak at the knees, he's my lobster!
I work in Admin in the real world but I also work as a vlogger, blogger and digital influencer and my dream is to do this full time - here's to hoping!
I'm also part of an AMAZING network of incredible Mums and Dads with Channel Mum. Check them out here / channelmum
I also help out with the closed Channel Mum Facebook Group which you can find by searching 'Channel Mum Group' on Facebook. It's a wonderful support and advice group for women and men and we talk about all things parenting and everything in between, so do come and join us.
So if you want to join me on this little journey then please do subscribe because I would love to see you again.
Thanks so much for watching as always,
love Rhian
x

Girl. Thanks for the vids! I’ve getting tested for Ms and your videos have helped a lot. ❤️
I was officially diagnosed about a week and a half ago, I think the neurologist was swaying towards lemtrada too and i'm pretty sure it's what I'll go with. I have my lumbar puncture next week and I have no idea when my anxiety is going to calm down, I just keep bursting out crying. I would love a fraction of how strong you seem.
The emotions run very high for quite a while. You will get through this. MS is triggered by stress so as hard as it may be please try to relax. Best of luck to you
I was diagnosed in April this year, I’m currently using Avonex to control it.
The lumbar puncture is very uncomfortable, but it is easier if you can stay relaxed during and after. Feel free to contact me if you want to talk, you can find me on Instagram, my name is lisamariebristow xxx

I’m getting lumbar puncture next week and going to get Lemtrada after. I was diagnosed 4 years ago. Thanks for this video :)
Your so amazing and such an inspiration. I can't get over how positive you are about this experience. I definitely need to take a leaf out if your book. I hope you have a quick recovery, rest up lovely (as much as you can with two littles) xxx

Thank you for posting this video. It is helpful to those of us considering to go through treatment with Lemtrada to get a first hand account of your experiences. Good luck to you and I appreciate you sharing your experience. It has been helpful.
I’m so glad that you have made this video! This has been really difficult for me. You have put my mind at ease about Lemtrada. Thank you! I hope you are well and I hope you are getting on with Lemtrada
Lemtrada has been the best thing I've ever done for my health besides changing my diet and losing 87 pounds. Having massive gains and I'm only 70 days post infusion. Best of luck you'll do great. Be well stay well keep smyelin 😄

Wishing the best for your recovery! I can't believe you've gone through this! ❤️ glad you're well now!
Thank you for sharing. My husband and I are considering this for me. I’ve been on two other dmds that haven’t helped. Your video has made us feel a little better.
Dr. Terry Wahls was dependent on a tilt-recline wheelchair for four
years until she reclaimed her health using a diet and lifestyle program
she designed specifically to -she now pedals her bike to work each day
Just had my brain and spinal mri. I speak with my neuro in a few days. By the way, your husband is truly one lucky guy.
I’m still waiting for some sexy welt pictures... and giggling as your bottle flash. 😂😂
I adore you. You’re amazing and I think this video will be so so so helpful for people who are thinking about doing this treatment
Huge love. X
Wishing you the very best results from this treatment. Thankyou for sharing xx
This was really interesting to watch and thankful you posted. Im about to start lemtrada for a rare blood cancer. I couldnt find any personal experiences that where helpful until i found your post hope your doing well. Be interesting to to know 2 to 4 week post treatmenet how your doing.
I hope that you are alright. Multiple sclerosis is awful sometimes. I know that. But we don't all have the same symptoms. Some maybe but not all.
May Holy God give you the strength you need and Holy Mary your heavenly mother look after your family. Pray as often as is possible.
Hi there. I was just wondering how you are doing now after your Lemtrada treatment? I also had active and aggressive RRMS and was diagnosed 7 years ago. I tried 2 DMTS Copaxone and Rebif but still kept relapsing. I had my Lem 4 years ago but currently feeling rubbish again and wondered if you had felt any signs of relapse of progression. I feel pain most days burning, itching and spasms. I developed hyperthyroidism and had to have the thyroid removed recently. I take medication for spasms but I feel I'm really struggling again. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced anything like this. Thanks for the video from Kaylee xxx
Thank you for your Honest views and options avaliable for MS.
Take care xx
Bally K Hayer Hey! I just started a channel here on UA-cam & I am also a person living with MS! I would love it if you would come over and check my channel & subscribe! ❤️
It's very intresting. If I can get my health insurance to pay for it in the US, I've started the process, might infuse in September or October this year. I also have never taken another MS drug. Hopefully you're doing well a few years out and didn't need a third course, and avoiding further relapses?
I was diagnosed Oct 2010 an i am getting Lemtrada next week. Bricking it 😔xxx
Satanette 85 I hope your treatment is going well. These few weeks are the worst, hang in there and you’ll feel better soon ❤️
Hey! I just started a channel here on UA-cam & I am also a person living with MS! I would love it if you would come over and check my channel & subscribe! ❤️
I have decided not to go for lemtrada. I'm going to choose the tablet. Can't think of the name. Well done for going through with lemtrada. Stay strong.
Can you make an update video please
Hi Rhian, thank you for your inspiring videos. I have a question for you, did you test positive for the JC virus? I am thinking of doing Lemtrada, waiting for the results as to if I am positive or negative for the virus, and thinking even if I have it that I will still do the Lemtrada treatment. Just wanted to know if you still did it regardless of being positive for the virus. Thanks
I'm honestly in awe of you! You're amazing and such an inspiration, your positive attitude is something to be so proud of. What a fab role model you are to your beauty girls xx
Were you positive for the myelin antibody? I have tested positive for it 3 times on my ANA test and yet no pursuit of an MS diagnosis by the neurologist I was referred to.
Hi...can I asked how old you are ??
I tried to comment on your insta story but it wouldn't let me see what i was writing so didn't send in fear of typos! I really hope you get the best results possible from this love. Do you have help with the girls? It's amazing how many different things can be treated by chemo. I know Chris's is also used to treat sickle cell and all sorts. Not many people are aware of that and thus the difficulties that might be faced. Sending tons of strength your way and love to hear updates xxx
Yammy Mackin Hey! I just started a channel here on UA-cam & I am also a person living with MS! I would love it if you would come over and check my channel & subscribe! ❤️
How long after you delivered your baby did you receive your Lemtrada treatment?
I was diagnosed with rrms 2003. I'm currently looking for a new medication. I have been on rebif injections for 7 years now and am now having exacerbations. Did the medication help or did you have to take another medication?
Chrmng 1 I haven’t had any other medications to treat MS since or before Lemtrada. It’s honestly been life changing. It doesn’t improve any permanent symptoms you already have but it is very effective in preventing relapses. I was averaging 3 relapses every month before Lemtrada and since Lemtrada I haven’t even had one relapse so it’s incredible. Of course there are some very serious side effects so I’d always say to do your own research and to speak to your neurologist 🙂 good luck x
@@rhiangibson1544 thanks so much. Not sure if I have progressive enough ms to get this treatment.
Gilenya has many side effects as well. But I think that many m.s medications do.
Hi, I am thinking of having this treatment! Did it affect your hair at all? I am on tecfidera and this seems to be affecting my hair!
Wendy Short Hi Wendy, No it hasn’t affected my hair at all, however, I do have very thick hair which doesn’t get bothered by much. I would advise joining one of the Lemtrada Facebook groups if you have Facebook, they are very good for asking a general question and getting different experiences from people who’ve had Lem xx
Thanx Rhian will do that
I hope you're alright Rion. My mum has MS and it's really bad now. I'm worried for her. It's sad and stressful condition.
richierich Hey! I just started a channel here on UA-cam & I am also a person living with MS! I would love it if you would come over and check my channel & subscribe! ❤️
I'm also having ms same as you from 2013. But it's really hard to deal with it
Thank you so much for this video! I start lemtrada in 2 weeks time I’m very nervous!! But I think it will be a positive in the long run! Any advice you can give would be much appreciated! X
you have facebook
you look like you haven't had any problem
They call MS the "Invisible Disease", for a reason.
British accent is just honey
Lemtrada has a lot of serious risks, some will appear after several years after treatment. Lemtrada is for patients with MS that failed other therapies. Please try another drugs before Lemtrada. Go to FDA.gov and read about Alentuzumab. Hope you the best.
Sandra Fernandez That is completely untrue. YES you should exercise caution YES you should consider other options but Lemtrada is actually better as a first treatment. I’ve never had anything else and I’m doing great. Yes there are risks but all medication comes with risk. Educate yourself but don’t be put off by this comment ❤️
I'm glad you had positive results but this person is completely right. It's right in Lemtrada's information. I've had 2 doses. I'm on my 3rd yr and my hair isn't the same, it messed my teeth up and of course I'm still having a nurse come and do my blood and urine test monthly and will be for the next 3 yrs. People need to know this drug follows you for yrs. Also, when I had the infusion I got a really bad rash, which is very common actually and was I'll for months after. Again, I'm glad you had an alright experience but it's not so good for everyone. The medicine does work though...I've not had any new lesions, so you've got to take that into consideration.
Sara knits I’ve said multiple times that I’ve had infusion reactions, bad ones. I’ve been unwell for about 6 months after my second round, I had a horrific rash and welts, and I needed additional medication, the side effects were awful. And I’ve also said about the blood and urine tests too, you speak as though I’m trying to sell the treatment or mask what it is really like, which is not the case. I always stress that this is MY experience and people need to do their own research before considering any treatment. Yes it’s hard, yes it’s a huge thing to commit to but it’s changed my life. As with all things, it’s entirely individual as to experience with the drug, I could have been wheelchair bound by now, and I’m not, so I’m grateful.
Sara knits And the part I refer to in the comment that I say is untrue is this - Lemtrada is for patients who failed other treatments.
It’s not. I’ve never had any other treatment at all. Just Lemtrada. So that statement is the part that is completely untrue. I’m not sure what happens in other countries but it’s certainly not a drug for those who’ve failed other treatments.
I will never apply chemotherapy recycled drug , this is disgusting
Do you have MS and if so, have you had any success with a natural approach?
@@whoosh_angel not yet unfortunately
@@fademan Have you ever consulted an ND or done heavy metal detox / mold protocol?
@@whoosh_angel never heard of this
@@fademan Some people think MS is triggered by heavy metal buildup in the body, mold and viruses. If you have the means or can save up, it is worth it to get in contact with a functional medicine practitioner or naturopathic dr to work on detoxing from them. Dr. Terry Wahls is also a prominent figure as she was a neurologist who was diagnosed w MS and went from tilt-recline wheelchair to walking and riding her bike in one year by changing her diet and supplements. I still think it’s very worthwhile to look into heavy metals/mold/viruses as a baseline. I’m new to this but fortunately already have that background so am not going to rely on allopathic prescriptions and treatments. I might look into them, but relying on natural methods first and primarily. God bless you on your journey.
