My mom's 5250 won't move in forward or reverse during the winter. During the summer everything works perfect. For the last two years we have only been able to use it as a summer time tractor.
Sounds like your 4th gear solenoid is bad. There are 4 solenoids under the right side of the cab sitting on top of the transmission. 1 for each powershift gear.
ED, bought one @ auction, spent $6000 at dealer shop with much aggravation and trips. hydraulics all quit when steering wheel was all way left or right. they put two hyd. pumps on it and adj. hyd system. PTO wouldnt work, they overhauled it, still wouldnt work. u could put foot on it and stop shaft! put simple C clip holding pto shaft on and pto worked! seemed to be worn C clip holding reversible PTO shaft???
Hi Steve I have same issue. Plug was stuck in the computer and the wires separated when I took it out. By any chance could you send a link to the plug on radionics

ED, tractor wouldnt start, checked fuel cutoff switch on injector pump with wire from battery off tractor,OK. pulled injector pump/ injectors off/ overhauled them/ still wouldnt start!. put new key switch on, seemed too loose, started up then!!!
