I love that people actually appreciate yoi story itself and don’t just focus on the love story. Yes it is cute and stuff but we got a complicated story about failure and success and I love it. It just want it to be ✨appreciated✨

YOI is my favourite anime for so many reasons, but this anime truly inspired me, it is bot only so great and realistic in the actual professional sport itself but it shows real life realities that people face in their careers as figure skaters, and that is what makes this the GREATEST anime of all time that I have watched, and this is no exaggeration but it always remain as my favourite anime, ... always.
I've been watching this for 4 years. When I started skating I used to train on ice and off-ice, I was so determinated, thanks to Yuri K and this video, I could live this anime by being the protagonist. Well, that was in 2018. YOI means so much to me Edit: and this video too
I keep coming back to this one. I've lost the sense of self worth, I used to feel intelligent and worthy, maybe too much? Either way that shattered, and I don't feel very skilled, cunning, able. But this one helps me. Feels like, at least I've got stamina, even if I'm stupid and slow and unoriginal, I've got stamina, and I can keep moving forward. There was this person I liked and whose opinion therefore mattered an extra amount to me, but all they did was throw me negative comments. They brought attention to all my bad sides. And I realized I've been so obsessed with proving myself, all my life in general, but also specifically to them. I realized they'll probably never see me as intelligent and idk, that forms a painful knot in my stomach. Dunno how to get over it yet, still trying to reach out from this pit. But, this video helps. Even if this "I've got stamina" to some extent still also is a way for me to keep thinking, there is a way for me to prove my worth as someone strong. God I hope I'll find my positive self again. As a rising sportsperson, this is one of my favorite animes! I can totally relate with Yuri. He is my comfort person. Its been 6 years since this masterpiece but I will never forget it!
