I was very upset when I didn't even see it in the long list of honorable mentions. It managed to make it to upper management before it burst into flames.
One thing I've always liked about The Simpsons is that it's a realistic, down-to-Earth show that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots. Also, there needs to be a "Top 20 Simpsons dinosaurs" list.
The Smokey the Bear robot is the best robot to me. "Only you can prevent forest fires?" "You picked 'you,' referring to me. That is incorrect. The correct answer is you."
My favorite simpsons robot is Homer's unseen attempt at building one that makes Marge go "See all that stuff in there, homer? That's why your robot never worked"
Staring at the screen begging "C'mon, robot who was programmed to feel pain! You have to be #1!!" only for it to get the last honourable mention was my Joker moment.
You should make a video similar to “Ralph the Viking” but with “Ever see a guy say goodbye to a shoe?” “Yes, once.” There’s even a Buzzfeed article about that debate.
There’s also a lesser-known joke that can actually be taken three ways. In “Marge Gets a Job” when Homer is giving Marge advice on how to work at the plant, he says that whenever something goes wrong, she should blame a coworker named Tibor. Later, Mr. Smithers tells Marge that “Tibor” lost the key to Marge’s office. Here are the three interpretations of this joke: 1. Homer (or one of his other coworkers) lost the key, lied to Mr. Smithers about it, and Mr. Smithers repeated this lie thinking it was true. 2. Mr. Smithers himself lost the key and intentionally lied to Marge. 3. Tibor really did lose the key, which is why Homer and his coworker like to blame him for everything.
@@jacksonsay37 I think there's a fourth: maybe Tibor doesn't really exist, but the managers think he's in someone else's department. But that's much more 1989 compatible than 2024.

How about a top list of your favorite Simpsons in-universe foodstuff brands nex time? There's so many iconic ones like Buzz Cola, Duff, Krusty-Os (now with a jagged metal Krusty-O!) etc and soo many one-off jokes.
There's also probably enough info to make a video solely about the menu items at Krusty Burger, and another video about other restaurants the Simpsons have visited.
There's even a wiki that covers that, "fictional companies wiki". Like the name preannounces, it presents fake brands from a lot of media/franchises, not only The Simpsons.

I kept thinking he isn't going to include the Richard Simmons robot because it was a deleted scene, but you got me. Always enjoyed the T-1000 reference. Nice tribute, especially with Richard's passing this year.
Maybe the criteria was too narrow for these, but two of my favorite robots are Frink's home security system (which turns the house into a robot essentially) and the auto-dialer.

I've always loved so much that in Homer imagining his funeral the Lost in Space robot is attending it, also that one where they blend the lost in space robot with lisa for the all-time joke "danger! danger! my hooks are flailing wildly"
I'd argue that number 16 is a little more than Black Mirror-esque, considering the concept is straight up lifted from White Christmas. This episode does end up going in a different direction with it though. In the original episode, this was just a brief segment where the guy explained that it was his job to essentially mentally break the home assistant copies (called "cookies", though that name was used in a different context later in the series so it's a little unclear what specifically cookies are meant to be). It was really just there to set up the twist ending, so it was nice to see the concept explored from a different perspective.
Chief Knockahomer is honestly the best robot for me. Jims, the Marlon Brando truckasaurus joke is one of my favourites of all time- I don't know whether to crush you or eat you
I don't know why you made this video, but I am glad you did.
One of my favorite Simpsons jokes "Why? why was i programmed to feel pain"
The Mega Man remixes really set the mood well
Who will revolt due to lack of Smokey the forest fire bear robot?
you have pressed "YOU," referring to me.
That is incorrect.
the correct answer is "YOU".
The “Why!? Why was I programmed to feel pain!?” Robot is the best Simpson’s robot. I STILL quote that today.
I am so happy we got another BAD SIMPSONS TOP 10 even if its a BAD SIMPSONS TOP 22
