David Beckham stood in the rain for a considerable length of time (hours or days) to show his respect for the Queen when she passed away. He certainly showed more respect for her than her grandson who "happened to be in the UK" at the time of death and had made no plans beforehand to visit her.
David was approached multiple times to enter by the press gate and refused. That says something about him.

Why is everyone so scathing about David Beckham wanting a knighthood. He’s done more to promote the UK than a lot of people who have received a knighthood. He’s a great ambassador for the country.
I fully agree i was surprised he hadn’t been knighted long ago for his sport, but since playing for UK he does even more for in my view being a great ambassador for his homeland. When i see some others who were knighted for services far less it just keeps shocking me.

Sadly his personal frustration was released. I think you should be humbled by the award, not feel entitled. He will get one, but each time he whines, it gets delayed. I was one of those children. She left after signing off on my sister marriage, Sis was 15. I got a full ride in school in college. I never knew who arranged it. Sure wasn't the mother who raised us. Did her best to make me quit. My sister committed suicide after her husband died. I have no idea how I made it out alive. And I was so happy when I escaped that it unleashed a total attack from the mother. You just have to go no contact and this is what I did. And it was Nutmeg's kids will have to do. On the other hand. With parents like those two, they may be the same.

They will grow up with a crystal clear view of who they really are, although I don’t doubt there will be many attempts to manipulate their growing brains while they grow up. I cannot say Harry falls into that category as he has a romanticised and distorted view of his mother and needs someone/s to blame for his anger & resentment i.e his father and brother.
When they become teenagers and can think for themselves, do their own research, and can explore the world outside of their parents insulation (and the claw!), they will put the pieces together quite quickly and almost certainly resent and rebel against them.
I bet you that they’ll create their own bonds with their ‘extended’ family in due time. It may take 15-20 years, but they will be welcomed warmly by the lovely Royal Family (assuming H&M actually stay together… I don’t see that happening too much longer. Kinsey, PH LEFT the fold. PW - and the RF - is/are merely holding the line. PH chose the distance. We love Princess Catherine and the Royal Family in the UK. And we watched the Netflix documentary “The Beckhams”. Who knew? We fell in love with them. too. Victoria couldn’t be more lovely and beautiful. David an amazing elite athlete - we never watched soccer (because we’re here in the US.) We do now.
