Time would test your strength and will.
The second hand would stand so still.
The questions fall from higher ground.
And through you all the answers found.
Let the pen do the writing,
Let the song sing itself.
Let the world go undivided,
Look inside to find yourself.
Let the mirror find you smiling,
Let the story tell the tale.
Let the truth believe in something.
Go beyond within yourself.
Your outlook from within designs you.
Thoughts take flight on spirit wings.
To change the way things might appear.
Just change the way you look at things.
So close your eyes and drift away.
Where the innocence of children play.
When love is true it so begins.
You find yourself beyond within.
