Great build! What did you use on the walls on each side of the living walls by the elevator? You also used it at the top of the stairs to fill the gap. Also, how did you do the lights around the edge of the ceiling?
The wall pieces are actually suBZero's poles from the workshop - just search 'pole' in there and all the variations come up. The ceiling lighting is in the 'molding' part of the game menu in the walls section. There's lots of different floor and ceiling moldings, but these are the illuminated ones!
@@ataraxisbuildsthings429 damn, I’m on console so I don’t have the workshop options. The ceiling moulding must be a workshop item also because I can’t find any that illuminate.
@@seanwilks7712 bugger, sorry Sean - I forgot about that. Maybe some of the ‘petarso’ posts in white on either side of the full height plant walls would work for you instead? 🤔 I think the idea was to hide as much of the steel elevator facade as possible. The illuminated mouldings are definitely in the game menu - you can turn them on or off which you can’t do with any workshop lights, and there is a choice of illumination colours (none of which register as anything other than white really 😅) I can’t remember their name off the top of my head as I’m on my phone, but I’ll have a look for you tomorrow ☺️
Right, 10 hours of rubbish sleep later..... the moulding is called 'copiam' and is from the HGTV dlc so if you don't have that one I guess that would be why you can't find it?
I used the Louisson square tiles from the Pets DLC - the white and the black ones laid down 4x4 alternatively. It took a bit of time but start in one corner and work you way across the rest of the floor methodically.
i put a mary window in the kitchen and it looks ok and i was doing the other windows wrong haha done all the design im just putting in my own touch now with the furniture 😁
hi Ataraxis hope you dont mind me asking but what wall did you put across the top of the wardrobes in the bedroom? i cant seem to fill the gap in and it looks tacky
these are the Petarso ceiling beams (from the pets dlc) that you can make into different depths. I used them in front of the curtains on the other side of the room too 😊
@@ataraxisbuildsthings429 ah right i used the ingame wall that u put accross for the doors above the windows no wonder it doesnt look right,, thnx i will destroy them and do it again
yes they are joshua windows - there's a lot of them though, maybe pick a set point (like the right corner next to the stairs) and count them along - that will make sure you have the right amount on the front to then set off down the left hand wall from.
It takes me a while because I try out lots of different things before I decide what to do - so like on this apartment I tried so many different types of flooring before I picked what I wanted to do 😅 I hope you enjoyed doing yours!
Exceptional! Best I've seen so far, the million dollar look.
Thank you so much!!! 🥰
