Geoff knows what it takes to be a pirate, a proper pirate, awesome quotes, great acting and transforms into the pirate Barbossa, completely immersed into his character. Jack Sparrow is cool in his own way, goofy, mad and drunk, yet intelligent and at times good at heart whereas Captain Barbossa is not only bright but ruthless and has the stature of a pirate lord, gets more than Jack does in terms of treasure and awesome pirate ships, finally developing into a good man himself. One thing both had in common was coming back from the dead and it seemed to bring the two to respect each other, not completely but more than ever was despite keeping to pirate traditions of outdoing one another.
Jd and geoffrey rush are a great actors, i love them, they are great together, justice for my gorgeous and handsome ángel jd, there is no pirates of the caribbean without our jack sparrow, no one can replace him, go jd go, we are with you, keep fighting, never give up
His character fully died in POTC 5, not sent to Davy Jones locker as Jack did in POTC 3. And Barbossa has already been brought back to life once before by Calypso, who is also gone now. It is highly unexplainable how he would be resurrected.
