Wow congrats on the partnership with Dyson, this is huge!! ❤ We have the same hair texture and length so im considering to get this product
Thank you!! 😊 Definitely check out other reviews before you commit.
I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this tool. I just bought one yesterday for my 4c hair and I just love it. I can not STAND the revair which does NOT get my hair straight. It blows revair and every other tool out of the water. No breakage, no damaging flat iron plates, no ripping/tearing roundbrush, just air. I will never go back.
Same here. I keep finding new uses for it and I'm hooked. I never tried the Revair because some people complained about their hair being stiff and it was just seemed too bulky for my taste. Long story short, I am now a Dyson person. 😂
Hi, I have read / seen. many reviews saying that their hair feels hot after using it just like after using a regular blow dryer. I am wondering if it's the same for you. I am wondering how damage can be avoided when the hair feels hot like that.
I use the airwrap with the smoothing brush and even on high heat my hair never feels hot so I am wondering which one is better to minimize hair damage...
@@HereDiianas My hair breifly felt hot too, but that was only on the highest setting. I didn't feel much on lower settings. I think part of the reason why it will always feel hotter than the airwrap is because the hair is insulated by the plates with the airstrait, but it's not with the air wrap. If the airwrap's brush attachment doesn't snag your hair, I don't see the point in getting the airstrait.
@PureEstrogen I had a revair and my hair was stiff stiff everytime I tried it. I hated that. My hair is 4b
you probably just didn’t know how to use the revair lmao. Love my revair 💁🏽♀️
I’ve been dying for a review on coarse type 4 hair ❤ it looks so good 😊
Thank you! 😁
@@PureEstrogen thank you 🥲
Still frizzy. My hair needs a normal clothing iron at this point ☹️
It’s a no for me. I have the Dyson Corrale straightener and it doesn’t get my hair straight even on the highest setting. This looks like a blow out. I wouldn’t waste my money on this.
Understandable. I think this is supposed to give a blowout look.
Oh. So interesting. I bought the Dyson Corrale for my wigs then started using it on my 4c hair and it gets it silky straight and doesnt revert back too quickly. So interesting how we all have different experiences 😊. But having the airwrap which doesnt damage my hair and gives the blowout effect I would not buy it too. But I think it is great to be able to use it on wet hair
Not exactly. You have to find the right products to use with this. I would recommend using Redkens acidic line along with Olaplex bonding oil. Just have to infused more moisture into your hair if you have a lot of shrinkage of if it's dry.
It isn't a flat iron. It is like a blow dryer.
Eh I know
Not close to the results I would want, but I appreciate your detailed demonstration.
It didn't straighten it but blow dry it
Which is HUGE for this type of hair! She saves time and her her is not damaged!! I love seeing this!
@@mimiboobies /she said it was at 285 degrees right? That is hot even if its just air.
Oh wow- excited to see this on 4c hair, finally!
I would still need to go back and flat iron my hair afterwards, so not sure. Maybe if there was a higher degree setting in the future? Right now I am better letting it dry overnight in pigtails to reduce heat and flat iron when its ready. Great review and video. This one was the most informative on how to use. Please share all your settings.
If you work in smaller section and go down slower it will become more straight. I am a dyson beauty Expert it's a learning curve to all the tools you can go to any sephora or Nordstrom and try it on your hair before you purchase one
I think it could be worth it if it’s just air and not the traditional heat of a flat iron. I mean as far as the health of your hair. I will be looking out for the full review. It does just look like a blowout but I don’t flat iron my natural hair anyway
I don't flat iron either. I think it's designed to give a smoother blowout and I noticed that reversion is delayed with this one when compared to my other blowdryers. I can't wait to share how it works on different settings.
I love this review. I have 4B hair. I’ll have to do a review from that perspective
The hair was spritzed not wet. Does that effect the results? How is other youtubers not getting these results in very curious about your methods
Holding my hair while going down prevents the vents from drying it before it goes through the plates. That helps me stretch it more. I'll explain it better in a follow up video.
@PureEstrogen you're doing good work. This is needed thank you. I'm tired of investing in useless products and equipment 😒
They need to create a mini one
Thanks for the demonstration. I'll stick to a blow dryer and a flat iron for smooth silky result instead.
I am not sure if this is meant to replace a blow dryer or not, if it is those are really good results.
Such a beauty
Thank you 😊
this was soooo satisfying to watch & now i want one 😍
lol. Testing this has me eyeing other Dyson tools.
Does what any straightener does
Debió pedir ayuda
Wow that’s amazing
Thank you!
At 285 degrees, was the air hot or warm on your hair....l'm still thinking about this gadget 💜
It was hot like any other blowdryer on high. I do have one that feels hotter than this though.
It does work well on black hair as like that only white or Spanish people or even Mexicans hair
You’re so amazing , thank you for thanking Dyson and keeping it professional as well as letting us know it was a gift. Lastly, thank you for trying this out on type 4 hair , for now I know my next purchasing decision . 🫶🏼
