See who Cal pulled and watch more players RIPPING PACKS at / toppsstudios !
Wow. Just Wow. How have I just stumbled upon this series of “rippin packs”. ?!? Cal is a legend. That Reagan story is out of this world.
Such a humble man. The best on and off the field. He was so good to the fans of Baltimore.
Most people he was ok with yes.
@@cjones3710 huh? Foh
@@mr.smithgnrsmith7808 What FOH? HOF ? Hall of Fame? Yes Orioles and Baseball .
dude i can watch every episode of this on a loop absolutely great
I like how Cal said ‘my Futures card with 2 other guys’ Cal pulling some Sweet cards here! Mattingly, and Ozzie!! 7/68…. You don’t forget stuff like that!
We can’t get Cal Ripken a pack of 83 Topps!?! Cool Mckaskil story. It would be cool to see Cals collection! What a signed Ronald Reagan baseball glove!?!?? Love these!!!
Hello from Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains Park..Cal has a field here in pigeon forge TN and is the grand marchal at the parades here ..hope to meet him one day 🏞️🌄🐻
Great post. Enjoyed it very much. Love Cal Ripken Jr. one of my boyhood idols.
THE shortstop in reference to Ozzie. I agree, but i love Ripken too. Both in my PC.
I know Mr.Ripken, I’m from Aberdeen where he’s from, and worked at Ripken Stadium and he was always so awesome to talk to…as nice as they come…except when he gave Kevin Costner a beating….those from Baltimore will know….
Amazing
He is such a nice man! Had the pleasure of meeting him in Cooperstown!
My all-time favorite athlete of any sport, been a fan since I was a kid in the 80s. My grandfather used to drive me to Baltimore for my birthday so we could watch him play. Always a class act, as with so many things these days they don’t make em like they used to….
1991 last year for Topps/gum.
Too bad Topps could not afford a pack of 1982 Topps for him to open.
Very cool to hear all these players talk during pack openings. The rest is just scripted questions, not bad but to see players reflect on memories and just speak is unique.
Cal how about one of those boxes!!!! I still have your 1982 Donruss rookie from when I was a kid! How can I get your auto on that card. Only
What a wonderful game. What a great player.
love these sessions! Awesome hearing from the legend and maybe one of the nicest guys ever, The Ironman!
Cal got Ronald Reagan's autograph on his glove ? That was a gem of a story!
You could have done this for an hour and cal would STILL be telling great stories ...ugh, you should have made this longer as you cut him off 😭😭
Every player seems to get 2 or 3 hall of famers in every pack! They must be better "rippers" than me, I was always getting Glenn Gulliver, Rex Hudler etc.!
You know on his 1991 Studio card he kinda looks like Garth Brooks!
Cal Ripken Jr 😲 The Iron Man 💪 such a legend!
I want to see him pull his brother's Fleer FF card 😆
Cal, my all time favorite player!
Love it. Great stuff
Topps doesn't have the budget to buy their own packs prior to 1986?
I’ve always wondered if Topps, Donruss, etc. give players a copy of their own card? Or do the players have to buy packs like everyone else?
Great shortstop 😎⚾️
I want to like this series but she doesn't ever seem prepared to interview these guys.
yeah unfortunately.
Cal Ripken and Wade Boggs played in the longest pro game in history, 33 innings.
Emily has the best job in the world.
We love you Cal !
I mean 1982 Topps
How many one team LEGENDS can you think about in the 70's and 80s Cal ripken, robin yount, George brett, mike Schmidt, jim rice, ozzie smith, derek jeter, Kirby Puckett, tom glavine, john smoltz, etc, ?
@Robert Anthony you sir are coooooooorect, I can't believe with my excellent knowledge I included Jeter. But It took you 3 months to figure this out. What took so long.
@Robert Anthony LOL.👍👌✌
BARRY LARKIN
Larkin, nope.
Ozzie Smith, Tom Glavine John Smoltz. Played for different teams in their careers
so how does one get her job, like who do you have to know?? or how do you just fall into a gig like that, tell them you'll work for free?
THE IRON MAN
Their privacy in puplic? Do tell...
I wonder if they got permission from the guy that originally did this.
Topps couldn't afford a pack or two of 83 Topps junk era smh ...
Yawn
1986 Topps is all garbage. You're wasting his time.
Not a good looking card
That woman is a mess~
My favorite baseball player. to the kid that stole my Cal rookie in middle school... U privileged crap hole. That was my prize possestion.growing up in foster care moving everyday I. Wanted to be like cal....but how .he git the ozzie...the one guy that beat him for gold glove when Cal only had like 3 errors all season.wth
I bet he's happy he took the glove back from Ronald signed, cool story.
she makes the interviews seem so akward. Does she not know she is in the presence of greatness? if so...then be the kid interviewer! I would so be a kid and ask questions that take them back as well. #FANgasm .
Also working for Topps you would think you would be better prepared and have the company have a pack or two with THEIR CARD in it lol C'mon they know whats where lol
Yea she don't match the vibe. Let me host this. I'll make baseball great again...on youtube
It'd be better if just 2 players opened the packs and reacted to the card + swapped stories. Not this awkward interview from a Topps person.
She may not have a great vibe pre be a great interviewer. However, she let him speak and never interrupted him.
It was a good chat!
harold baines is in the hall of fame. don mattingly and bernie williams are not.
Why would u have him open packs from the worst set of the 80's? Ha
