This is great piece of advice for all junior react developers. I also follow your approach to upskill myself and I remember someone asked in your discord about this and I suggested your approach. You get one step closer to become a senior react developer when you look into good open source projects and consider learning opportunity in them.
Bro i just want to say thank you, i'm confused watching other's react videos but i've been watching your videos and your contents are so clear and concise. Especially this one is a really solid advice. Keep up the good work bro youre a life saver!
Ngl you're videos are golden for beginners. Don't take the hate too seriously, if I had seen your videos when I was starting out, I would've avoided so many mistakes and would've been ahead of everyone in class.
Well, actually a Senior is not just about coding, which is quite easy to learn. A Senior may not have much coding skills but be able to put solutions to many issues, about structures everyone can have a different style, that means you don’t necessarily need to copy someone but do what is best for your project. So at the end a Senior may be more an architect more than a developer
I can relate this with my current project. Where i got a Starting Project with some initial implementations. I tried my best to understand and replicate those in next modules that i worked on in last 3 months. I found massive growth in my React Code Best practices.
So related. Before I watch this video Im doing what are you saying. Reviewing my senior code base . Lets say his template boiler plate when starting the project. How he structure his template for the project from the scratch
I am a 17 year old girl , i am really interested in computer science. And i want to become a react js developer. I just want to ask that can i do it at this age by learning it on internet for one year?
I'm building a platform for people who want to become or find technical, business, marketing cofounders. I want to build it into a community platform where you can showcase your startup idea & get cofounders to join. Build a team & gain experience along the way.

to become a senior developer, you have to first become a junior developer and spend a few years learning from seniors. its unlikely you will be hired as a senior just because you contributed to an open source project.
Problem is picking that OS project. You don't know what you don't know, so how do you pick a project that fits RE best practice/patterns etc? Love the content though! Thanks :)
The best way to learn swimming, is jumping into the water
