The only thing you can always count on when it comes to LeBron James is that you can't count on him. LMMFAO LBJ THE GOAT OF EXCUSES. It's just sad that this era of the NBA has made it that winning an actual game doesn't matter to push BS Stat narratives.
@bipolarminddroppings 40 year old mj was scoring better than this lbj based on adjusted stats for pace. While playing top 30 defense in the league compared to bron who is outside top 100. Lebrons defensive effort is embarrassing
True! Now we have loads of people who never played in the mesldia talking like they know everything and everyone else doesn't know basketball. It MORE proof trugged! sports are rigged!
The amount of deflecting and not holding LBJ accountable over the years is astonishing. LBJ is a joke. How people even have him in there top 10 is embarrassing
The thing with LeBron is that his career is riddled with insincerity. He wanted to do better than Jordan but lost with Cleverland, granted getting to the Final much sooner than many expected. However, his record was then 'tainted'. He then failed to do well beyond that and went to Miami and wanted to win "not 4, not 5, not 6..." He was gunning for Championships. However, he lost again. He went 2-2 there. He lost against with Cleveland. From here, the balance shifted. He then solely went for statistics because sport was changing into a numbers game and he realised that's where he'll make his claim. He's done very well in that regard but it's the insincerity behind it. If you were to tell him, "You retire at 35 and are 7-0 but you're not the all-time scorer, nor did you play with your son, nor did you get so many All-Stars as you did, etc" and he'd absolutely take it though he'll probably deny it. LeBron's effectively become someone who's ashamed of how his career has turned out based on what his true prospects were. So, he changed the goalposts, and forced everyone to accept the new ones. The media bought it, many players bought it, but deep down they all know that LeBron, in terms of his peak and winning, has underachieved and nothing will truly save that despite the fact he's had an all-time great career in and of itself.
How about your insincerity? Lebron had a horrible supporting cast in his first Cleveland episode, he gave them 7 years and the front office kept making one terrible decision after another until he made the move. I completely agree the move was absolutely classless, both the interview and the arrogance of claiming multiple titles as if it was nothing. However, when you disregard the lack of class, you have to judge a player by his accomplishments, and not by his accomplishments compared to what he said he would accomplish, so "only" 2-2? I think most would agree that a stretch of 4 years where you end up with 4 finals appearances, 2 rings, 2 finals mvp and 2 mvps is not a complete failure 🙃 You basically said any season without a ring is a failure and any season with one is just meeting the expectation which is an unfair representation imo. You "forgot" to mention his epic ring with the Cavs and the one with the Lakers and then claimed he changed his game to stat padding basically? That's absurd and there's no data to support it! All his major stats are very consistent throughout his entire career So basically, don't be a hater I'm not even a Lebron fan, I'm a Jokic fan, but I don't understand why people can't separate between the disdain from his personality off the court which I completely share and the objective assessment of his career I still got MJ at #1, but I have LBJ at 2nd, and not so far behind
@@droraharonI can say , the evidence is there with him padding his 10pt a game streak the other night when he was playing garbage minutes to get his 10 pt. Soon as he got it he subbed out.
@Monkey-m8x you're right. It absolutely IS pathetic to miss a clutch shot so badly in the playoffs. He also airballs and hits the side of the backboard REGULARLY. He just bricked a 40 foot three off the backboard A FEW GAMES AGO, thinking he was Steph Curry and going for the win. I don't need to go back 2 years ago, I just wanted to EMPHASIZE that even in tne playoffs when it matters most, he still does the same thing.

I can’t wait for the date this guy retires. He clearly has ruined the NBA where it’s unfixable at this point. The fact that he’s a part of two of the least watched finals in history is a big dent on his legacy. I can somewhat excuse 07 only because I feel most of America knew the Spurs were going to sweep the Cavaliers. 2020 is inexcusable. I know most people will say it was the bubble and they were competing with the NFL and the presidential election, but the fact they couldn’t draw 10 million viewers on average is so sad. The NBA hasn’t recovered since the bubble.
A lot of people say that Jordan's legacy was negatively affected by his two seasons in Washington. In my opinion, that's inaccurate. But if we're going to use that argument against Jordan, the same can be said about James. His time with the Lakers has been underwhelming, and all his flaws, as a person and as a player, have been exposed. Granted, he won the Covid-19 Mickey Mouse invitational championship. But beyond that, his legacy has been tarnished by his own doing in L.A. The best thing he can do for the benefit of the NBA is to retire and get the hell away once and for all.
'I wanna be like Mike', that's what everyone was and still is saying, i don't hear nobody saying 'i wanna be like lebron', besides ofc teenagers and some a little over 20
When we said we wanted to be like Mike, we were talking about the depth of effort and skill we were demonstrating - showcasing our talents. When these kids talk about being like LeBron , I’ve only heard them say that with reference to his money and his clout.
I would take Larry Bird any day of the week and twice on Sunday over LeBron James. Comparing James to any player is an insult to that player. James has a long way to go for any relevancy talk.
You all have allowed his ego to get to this point. None of this LeBron inflation has been earned. So…here we are at the end where we aren’t acknowledging really.
why tf would he retire he should just take a paycut. hes putting up all star numbers. even if it was stat padded that doesn't mean he should be out of the league.
He is hands down the most obnoxious ego that has ever graced the NBA. He can take a big chcunk of the credit for the declining popularity of the NBA too. That soap opera with his son, I have no words for that dumpster fire.
Lebron has never truly worked on his jumpshot. Has very limited ball handling skills and can't create much separation. He has never really played off the ball and at this point in his career it's too late. He should have changed his game up years ago but all the sports media have been up his ass and he isn't smart enough to make the changes himself.
@Monkey-m8x do you watch the games at all? LeBron and the Lakers average like 1,000 more free throws per season than the second highest team. Superstars have always gotten a friendly whistle, but no superstar has even gotten as much of a whistle as LeBron's whining and flopping ass.
A Laker fan told me Lebron took that shot down by 2 with 3 or 4 seconds left because he just wanted to go home. Either way the game would end there. That would explain the bizzare decision Lebron made. He just didnt care
Nope that’s just the narrative they wanna put out. It was really that federal investigation on steroids his trainer and wife got wrapped in back in 2014
I just wish a reporter would have the balls to ask Lebron about Diddy. Just once. Get his reaction. He gets asked about a lot of sh*t unrelated to basketball all the time anyway. The only thing you can always count on when it comes to LeBron James is that you can't count on him. LMMFAO LBJ THE GOAT OF EXCUSES. It's just sad that this era of the NBA has made it that winning an actual game doesn't matter to push BS Stat narratives.
I take 40 years old one leg MJ over Prime LeBalco
I'd take 38y/o MJ over Prime LBJ, but not 40y/o MJ. It's close tho...

@bipolarminddroppings 40 year old mj was scoring better than this lbj based on adjusted stats for pace. While playing top 30 defense in the league compared to bron who is outside top 100. Lebrons defensive effort is embarrassing

"that one right there made me the lamest of all time..."
- lebum "industry plant" james, 2024 -
The thing with LeBron is that his career is riddled with insincerity. The media bought it, many players bought it, but deep down they all know that LeBron, in terms of his peak and winning, has underachieved and nothing will truly save that despite the fact he's had an all-time great career in and of itself.
the word you're looking for is insecurity. Lebron is the most insecure professional athlete of all time.
He took that title from Shaq years ago.
Well said bro 👏
hes the greatest of oat what else do u want?
How about your insincerity?
Lebron had a horrible supporting cast in his first Cleveland episode, he gave them 7 years and the front office kept making one terrible decision after another until he made the move.
I completely agree the move was absolutely classless, both the interview and the arrogance of claiming multiple titles as if it was nothing.
However, when you disregard the lack of class, you have to judge a player by his accomplishments, and not by his accomplishments compared to what he said he would accomplish, so "only" 2-2? I think most would agree that a stretch of 4 years where you end up with 4 finals appearances, 2 rings, 2 finals mvp and 2 mvps is not a complete failure 🙃
You basically said any season without a ring is a failure and any season with one is just meeting the expectation which is an unfair representation imo.
You "forgot" to mention his epic ring with the Cavs and the one with the Lakers and then claimed he changed his game to stat padding basically?
That's absurd and there's no data to support it! All his major stats are very consistent throughout his entire career
So basically, don't be a hater
I'm not even a Lebron fan, I'm a Jokic fan, but I don't understand why people can't separate between the disdain from his personality off the court which I completely share and the objective assessment of his career
I still got MJ at #1, but I have LBJ at 2nd, and not so far behind
@@droraharonI can say , the evidence is there with him padding his 10pt a game streak the other night when he was playing garbage minutes to get his 10 pt. Soon as he got it he subbed out.

I wonder why doesn't he stat pad game winning shots since he stats pad everything else?
A lot of people say that Jordan's legacy was negatively affected by his two seasons in Washington. In my opinion, that's inaccurate. But if we're going to use that argument against Jordan, the same can be said about James. His time with the Lakers has been underwhelming, and all his flaws, as a person and as a player, have been exposed. Granted, he won the Covid-19 Mickey Mouse invitational championship. But beyond that, his legacy has been tarnished by his own doing in L.A. The best thing he can do for the benefit of the NBA is to retire and get the hell away once and for all.
if the covid ring was so easy, why didn't your team win????
Lebron makes me sick and so does espn. I’m so damn tired of his excuses. But he has been pampered since he was in highschool.

Queen James is delusional.
When these kids talk about being like LeBron , I’ve only heard them say that with reference to his money and his clout.
so you have heard people say i wanna be like lebron or haven't because from this comment it seems like you have.
The ESPN, FOX and the NBA protecting this Diva like that time Putin, scored 10 goals against a Russian hockey team.

why tf would he retire he should just take a paycut. hes putting up all star numbers. even if it was stat padded that doesn't mean he should be out of the league.
Much like Wings of Redemption, LeWhine is a carried diamond.
Nobody is carrying Wings anywhere. Even at his funeral they're going to have to use a forklift.

He's not playing to win. He's playing for stats. The refs made sure he never needed to improve.
@@J23LA24 kobe and lebron both averaged about the same free throws per game. so the refs saved kobe as well?

Lebron doesn’t like it when a GM Pat Riley or a head coach EriK Spoeltra challenge his authority and that’s why he left the Miami Heat.
