*Perfect band saw for the hobby enthusiast **MyBest.Tools** Easy to set up and square. 😂😀😂😀Had it😎 running in 10 to 15 minutes. Quality of cuts will depend on the🤣🤣🤣 quality of the blades.*

Overall a good saw for the money. I don't like that the side guides are little posts to push the blade rather than bearings... Some of the adjustments can be a little finicky but you're still getting good bang for buck. Not what I'd call a precision tool but it gets the job done for a low price.

Just picked up one of these and it just got here today - Still in the box but watching all the review videos before I take it out. Selling points were the all-metal design, two-doors, included fence and mitre gauge. Paid $128 - Should be great for small projects. Thanks for the review, it helped me make my purchase decision.

I have the same one I got for knife making. Cutting g10 and micarta. It’s a good design and only cuts wood. I can’t cut g10 or micarta. The motor stalls out. It’s still a good bandsaw but for only wood. If you’re looking to get this for knife making and cutting the scales look at the larger options or different brand. By the way this is 1 year after this video and the band saw is now $140.

Thinking about getting this band saw and want to know a few things about it first. I know it only has a 2.8 amp motor which is roughly 1/3 hp will it cut 3/4" to 1" maple, mahogany and ashwood? Which leads to my second question I'm sure like 99.9 percent of every other saw on the market the blade that comes with it is worthless junk, what would be the best blade for cutting those hardwoods, tooth count and blade width? I won't be doing any tight radius or scroll cuts with that type of wood. Derek Jones, now that you've had it for a year are you still happy with it and is it worth the $120 bucks? Thanks
