There are certain things in the world of dance music today that we take for granted. When we feel an emotion from a synthesizer, we accept it as inevitable - as always having been there. Chicane is such a figure, and his impact can't be overestimated.
To prove this, we challenge you to listen to his first album from 1997, 'Far From The Maddening Crowds' and see for yourself how well his music has aged in almost 20 years. Now, the legend is back with a brand new studio album - 'The Sum Of Its Parts'. Right from the start, you'll recognize the trademark Chicane composition style and melody. Totally agree - Nick Bracegirdle (Disco Citizens/Chicane) and the likes of BT have paved the way for the many who provide the beautiful electronic music we all enjoy today! I can happily listen to Footprint or Nagasaki Badger and neither would be out of place in a modern mix! God bless Chicane - and God bless Analog modelling synths!

Salz... Da fällt mir ein, das ist ja alles Salzwasser.... Ja, alle 7 Meere sind Salzwasser. Wieviele Eier man damit morgens wohl essen kann ? Ich will jetzt gar nicht fragen wo das her kommt, irgend wo her wird es wohl kommen... Aber es gibt noch einen gravierenden Unterschied. In Salzwasser ist Salz drin, aber in Süßwasser, ist gar kein Puderzucker... ähm... :-))))
