@@biorumsam wilson and steve rogers are different characters. Black panther is supposed to be black and african, wakanda is black people for a reason, him being black is apart of his story. White people have more than enough different characters, they can afford to have new renditions that are poc. And before you say anything about it, whitewashing is bad because it is taking away the opportunity to have a character of color and instead reinforcing the same “white is better” beauty standards that have been around. Its all about making things even, and before you mention “they can just make new characters, stop remaking everything”, 1. They do, those get attacked just the same btw (called “woke” and “agenda pushing”) 2. They would still be doing remakes even if they didn’t race swap (cinderella, beauty and the beast, mulan, Aladdin, etc.). In the comics, Bucky agrees to become the new Captain America. With all his training, muscles, & his experience, he’s the perfect fit.
