Hi Tanya I am also a natural dyer. I now live in NZ. Normally I dye wool yarn but I have recently started cross stitching again and I am going to start dyeing my linen fabrics for my embroidery projects. It feels like so few people do naturally dying. I am glad I have found you. Catherine

Hi Catherine, hand dyed linen plus embroidery sounds fantastic. 🌾 You have so many leaves, bark, flowers in nature in NZ. I want to encourage you to experiment and see what happens 😃 thank you for your kind words and support. Tanya

So glad to know a dye bath can be used for so long! Did you store them in the fridge? I live in a cold wether and use for 4 days normally, but leave outside.

Hi Loraine, I sometimes keep my used dye baths in the cold pantry room( up to a week). I try to plan my projects that I can dye a few things at once. I doesn’t always work like that. Fridge is too small. I use the freezer sometimes but I prefer making fresh dye baths because all if the colour pigment is at the bottom of the larger jar or a container when you try to reuse it. It needs good stirring 😅
