Hey, did you check that you set the Resoloution to the maximum at GTA III on the Galaxy SIII? On my Galaxy Nexus it looks really nice, but only if you set it to maximum.

The camera app "launching" faster on the 4S means nothing: all iOS apps include a screenshot of the app in their bundle that shows when the icon is tapped. This gives the illusion of the app being loaded before it actually is.
iPhone 4S: Nice compact design, popular, pleasant and easy to use. - Expensive compared to other smartphones at the same level. App/ File transfer on iOS is much more annoying to use compare to android. Galaxy S3: Functionality, faster, larger, and much more to personalize. - Newer and up-to-date. Reasonable price.
The SGSIII screen annoying because it doesn't get very bright? I think the only time I really need a bright display is in the sun and that isn't a problem with the HD AMOLED so I guess it won't matter.
This is a WONDERFULL demonstration of why Quad Core does not always beat dual core, I for one am happy that in the U.S. we are getting 2GB of RAM and a faster Snapdragon S4 Dual core SOC, the S III in this test is not opening apps much faster than the 4S and its Dual Core is almost half the speed.
Nice that you made a video comparison, and seems that the SGIII does video nicely it would be nice if you compare camera (photos) performance, specially in low light

personally, i like the vibrant colors more than the old-looking pictures from the iphone. maybe its just me but it does seem to pop out more with the samsung display.
I think its to control the noise. The quality is fantabuloso on GSI. It gets super loud though, so that's probably why they made it quieter, if he went to a crowd of people it would probably be easier to hear him over everyone else.
On the video test, why does the android (beep) come through on the (what is labeled) as the iPhone 4s video? Also, I agree with the other comments that it says something that ALL new phones coming out. The iPhone 4S is a little more than a year old and is just now starting to feel out-dated. The GSIII will be out dated in a few months....whether by the NEW iPhone or another Android device.

I've gotten the iPhone 4 and 4S multiple times for testing, business, etc. I thought maybe it was time for a change so I got the Galaxy S3 and so far i'm liking it. Maybe if the screen was a LITTLE bit smaller, just a LITTLE bit. It would be the perfect size. I just don't like the stock android keyboard, but install the apple keyboard emulator makes the experience better. Overall, i'm liking the S3 so far.
the major issue with comparing phones or even computers using the same apps but under different operating systems is the fact that no matter what, each is using a different programming language. One of the apps could be naively java and one could be not.
The thing that gets me about people is when they the s3's too vibrant but you have an option in the phone to make the colors more natural like the iPhone or more colorful so its not like your limited to the default coloration. Check your facts.
The bit about how the colors compare was flawed. Galaxy S3 has settings for the screen mode. Modes like "natural" and "movie" which are much more accurate then the default normal mode which is very oversaturated.
There is a major difference in the sound of the video comparison. The sound of the S3 is just like an old telephone and the iPhone sounds just as the good sound quality of the camera recording the previous video.
This comparison doesn't matter a bit to me. I'm a fan of both for small reasons. I'm a tech nerd, so I love rooting my S2 and I really enjoy the screen size. I like the iphone for it's syncing ability to my employees macs to gather data quickly. I will wait to upgrade when the next big thing comes out after the S III as my S2 seems as quick, or quicker than any current phone, and it never lets me down.. personal preference everyone. No reason to get into a dumb argument each time :)
Getting the S3 myself, 4s is too pricey on contract and in general. Apple have however did an amazing job of utilizing the CPU power in the 4s. Also people forget the 4s was out a fair bit before the S3, I like em both personally :) Sound quality of recording on a 4s is better in my opinion.
Can't say I agree with you regarding the design of the iPhone 4S being dated looking. It looks no more dated than any other phone on the market. And the S3 basically looks like a cross between a iPhone 4 and 3GS design with the white or black color, with silver trim. And how can you speak of bulky in terms of thickness when the S3 may be very slightly thinner but it is huge which makes it for a more bukly clunky feel. You are completely right about the back glass being a liability.

One thing is that it feels so much smoother.Its my first android phone, and it is spectacular.To me the iphone 5 width should of been updated too, cause it being 4 inches makes it look awkward for being longer without any width difference. But it is slimmer which is good. I learned that android phones has better hard ware build in them. Cause i can actually run higher demand applications.

I saw one video comparing S Voice to Siri and the person said S Voice 'beat' siri because it got the info on the screen faster in some instances - where on siri the animation was what put it 'behind', milliseconds aren't exactly comparisons. :\
No, the iPhone 4S has the A5 Chip you're talking about the A5X which is just only on the "New iPad" now. This chip will probably be on the next iPhone though

Definitely better sound quality on the iPhone 4s in the last comparison, but both had great video quality. I'd definitely choose the Galaxy S III, though, because for me, it beat the iPhone 4s on every other aspect, but that's probably only down to preferences. Both great phones, undoubtedly, but I'm not really a fan of the iPhone; just not my cup of tea. However, right now, my two favourite phones are the Xperia S and One S, which might be surprising, but that's down to taste. Great comparison!
The iPhone mic sounds way better than the S3, but quality is far superior on the S3 compared to the iPhone. The iPhone was also fairly shaky (even after you had a good grip on it). It's weird though because I remember watching a video of the S2 vs. the 4S and I remember the S2 being much better in almost everything, the S3 is great but a disappointment.

GTA3 test was unfair. iOs never had real multitasking (It just freezes apps in background, excellent test would be launch Angry birds on both, minimize, wait a bit, maximize, the music on galaxy s3 will progress further), while android does real multitasking (Or let's say just does multitasking).
Heres the major difference between the Iphone and the SGS3... even if stock of the SGS3 was slower then the Iphone 4s, you can modify the actual rom of the phone and thus get extra speed out of it where as with the iPhone you simply get what comes with it...

Back when they thought that flash wouldn't be useful because of slow devices small screens etc, they decided to issue the pull and use HTML 5. Flash would be really useful but HTML 5 is supposed to be better.

You're comparing screen tint when you can change the screen temperature on the GSIII. It all comes down to personal opinion.

Why do reviewers always complain about the s3 colour, yet they never change the settings from vibrant to natural?

It's not about people liking the phone. It's about people thinking/saying the phone is better than the other.
Also the 1080P video at the end with the Galaxy S3 looks far better then the 4S. Distant trees look more detailed and vibrant.
