I feel like most of the issues you pointed out in this video are non-issues. Like the dock - it's great that it's included and if you just put the mouse on it when going to bed and take it off when starting your day, that's a great experience and charging becomes a non-issue. I also don't get what you mean when you say it feels bad in every game (?). The shape is obviously subjective, but for palm/claw-grip I find it a lot better than the Basilisk v3 which I also tried. And regarding the sensor/wireless, I don't feel a noticable difference between this mouse and the wired basilisk v3. The Roccat feels a bit cheaper though, that's true, but I think that the shape, which I prefer, is much more important. The missing freescroll mode of the mouse wheel may be important to some, but I personally really don't need it and most gaming mice don't have it anyway. I can't say the clicks or mouse wheel feel bad or mushy in any way, that's the kind of thing that 90% of people don't even notice or don't care about. But I guess it can be important to some, while it is also very subjective. Try the mouses in a store if you can. Regarding the "useless features" - what exactly? Maybe you don't need the extra buttons, but maybe others do. Maybe you think a freescroll wheel is useful while others don't. I personally like the features of the Roccat. From the extra buttons to the superior thumb button (which I use as a sniper button) and the charging dock with a USB port for the receiver. The software is a bit janky, but the Razer software on the other hand is intrusive and overloaded. Like with any mouse software - just configure the mouse once, delete it from autostart and never deal with it again. Overall I think the Kone XP Air is a great mouse and I sent the Razer Basilisk V3 back in favor of the Roccat.

When he compared the mouse to Razer, that's already a red flag I feel. Razer mouse surface feels nice to touch, yeah but give it awhile, it'll turn into a sticky pile of mess, you'll end up throwing your mouse away.
from an aesthetic standpoint, i wanna like this mouse so much. I'm on their site right now with one in the cart. but this videooo.... I just scrapped my g502 cuz of [gamer rage] age, and increasing frequency of missed inputs. I can live without the infinite scroll (home/end and pg up/down welcome back my friends) but the g502 had some MUSHY ass scroll wheel side clicks. seems not much is improved here... shame.
Very poor quality mouse, i love the design and feel but it broke within 2 months. Even within the 2 months i had many times happen that the mouse became extremely slow in moving (the cursor), and the only way to fix this was turning off the mouse, put it on the charger and put it back on. It also did not charge to 100%, only 80% and it was back to 40% within 2 hours. Never will i buy another one of this brand.
Ah crap, the buttons, layout and shape are *perfect* for me. Such a shame the main clicks, scroll wheel, finish and software is rubbish. Rubbish list too long, have to pass.
The charging dock is fine. I owned the Logitech MX700 from way back when and it had a dock that you would put the mouse on to charge when not being used. And it didn't even have a cable to connect. Some people don't appreciate what they got these days.
I still have a MX700, and while that feature is a bit annoying, one could always pop in another set of AA batteries to get them through in an emergency, then put it on the dock to charge it later... :) I really love that mouse, and I'm glad they still use that shape to this day.
Roccat isn’t the same tbh… for me the Kone XP Air is okay (I'm more into Lightweight mice, I love my Deathadder V3 Pro lol) but the quality and the click feeling is just so bad imo, it’s sad to see

When he compared the mouse to Razer, that's already a red flag I feel.
Razer mouse surface feels nice to touch, yeah but give it awhile, it'll turn into a sticky pile of mess, you'll end up throwing your mouse away.
Me not watching this video after I bought the mouse thinking it’s cool
Me too lol it's only been 2 days but it feels great and it's the only really negative review I've seen
OMG, what happened to your hand?
Which one?
from an aesthetic standpoint, i wanna like this mouse so much. I'm on their site right now with one in the cart. but this videooo.... I just scrapped my g502 cuz of [gamer rage] age, and increasing frequency of missed inputs. I can live without the infinite scroll (home/end and pg up/down welcome back my friends) but the g502 had some MUSHY ass scroll wheel side clicks. seems not much is improved here... shame.
how do u butterfly click
I believe in turtle mouse supremacy 🐢
Very poor quality mouse, i love the design and feel but it broke within 2 months. Even within the 2 months i had many times happen that the mouse became extremely slow in moving (the cursor), and the only way to fix this was turning off the mouse, put it on the charger and put it back on. It also did not charge to 100%, only 80% and it was back to 40% within 2 hours. Never will i buy another one of this brand.
Ah crap, the buttons, layout and shape are *perfect* for me. Such a shame the main clicks, scroll wheel, finish and software is rubbish. Rubbish list too long, have to pass.
turtle mouse the goat
aimo is honestly a joke, what it does is pretty much just go through all colors!
Do not buy this mouse or anything from roccat, quality is garbage connection is terrible and mouse wheel is known to fail on most devices
Can I have this mouse?
No
Still a downgrade from the discontinued Roccat Tyon.... RIP
What makes you say that?
Roccat isn’t the same tbh… for me the Kone XP Air is okay (I'm more into Lightweight mice, I love my Deathadder V3 Pro lol) but the quality and the click feeling is just so bad imo, it’s sad to see
People understand this is his subjective review. It really doesn't mean anything. What he calls useless features is literally the reason why people would buy this mouse. So pretty idiotic assumption and claim.
As for grip and feel that is again totally subjective.
I bind a lot of functions to mouse. So more buttons is better. I am NOT one of those looking for a mouse that is 30 grams and have 2 buttons because "loLskatesleetprofpsgameryo".
croot
Oh I am the first comment Letz gooooo!!!!
Not wrong, it is really bad, the coating is the main bad thing for me, its so slippery.
I've got the wired version had it since release and now that I traded off everything except the kone Xp. Model O minus wired and an orochi V2. I never touch the kone Xp. And win more games with the model o minus but the orochi is easily the best of them all as weird as all that is
