- The future version of Megatron, Galvatron has not had the best of luck with Transformers figures. But that changed with the War For Cybertron Trilogy. Here's my review for Kingdom Leader Class Galvatron!

Just to say, I like Frank Welker, but wasn't too much of a fan of his voice for Galvatron in the original cartoon

This is the very first Galvatron figure I have ever gotten in my life and I love it!
Alt mode transformation was a bit tricky at first, but I got the hang of it after I did it the first time. Robot mode is fantastic and I love that they made it so you can actually stand him on his own.
Definitely a figure I'd recommend others to get.
This is my favourite ever Transformers figure. I can't put it away, my eternal deskbot😃😃😃😃

Aside from the issues he has, this is pretty much everything I want in a G1 Galvatron figure. Can't wait to stick him on my '86 display!
I bought some gap fillers for the pin holes, as I didn’t want to accidentally break the toy fixing it. Looks good.
Goes great with Coronation Starscream. One of my favorite G1 moments in film.
Honestly, the shoulder problem doesn't bother me at all. Excellent review of Galvatron Rodimus Primal!!!
this shoulder fix's by @PatriotPrimeReviews videos is a good dame fixed man.
It certainly is a good fix. Its a bit of work, but its worth it!
I found a much better gun mode.
Simply tuck the treads to the underside of the cannon, bring the back section down to form a handle, and use the ankle tilt to turn the heel spurs into more handle, and you're done!
To hold it, place your finger through the hole (that has not trigger) and rest the top sides of your other fingers against the heel spur.
I lucked out, mine came with no QC issues and I already wiped off the battle damage so I'm good to go. Thank the luck Gods
I'm really enjoying the new Synth Music in the background to this review. Funny enough it actually at first gave me the vibe of Paid Product Presentation Ad from the 80's or 90's.

I think he looks awesome! Definitely deserving of a spot on my wishlist along side Cyclonus and Scourge. I don't care if a toy has issues like misassembly as long as it doesn't turn to dust in my hands. The battle damage is subtle enough, in my opinion, that it doesn't bother me.
Great review. I got mine at Target about a month ago, and fortunately it had the shoulders correct.

I got mine a couple of months ago and I'm in love with it. It's so much better than the Titans return one. I've cleaned the shins on mine, working on cleaning the rest. The bad shoulders don't really bother me. Great review Primal. Till all are one

I just got my Galvatron yesterday. I will open him this Christmas eve. He looks good. A lot more movie accurate than the Titans Return version as far as I can tell.

personally i think the battle damage is just nit picking because i think that the battle damage tells the story of the character overall but this is an awesome review.
I recently found a Kingdom Galvatron with the correct shoulders at a Target and picked it up on the spot. I absolutely love this figure and I can't wait to display him with Cyclonus, Scourge and 3 Sweeps I preordered and am waiting to arrive!
That's the main issue for a lot of us getting the wrong shoulders version. I removed the battle damage paint, but I wont fix the shoulders I don't want to ruin the figure. Nice review.
That's why I showed the tool needed to fix it, and credited Patriot Prime for showing us how its done. It sucks that we have to do it, but its worth it in the end.

Unicron: Behold Galvatron
I was lucky enough to get this guy with correct shoulders during his original production run and loved it right out of the box. As a lifelong Galvatron fan, this is the toy that I've been waiting for since seeing the movie in theaters back in 1986. I cleaned off the battle damage also, and then I bought the Larkin's Lair upgrade kit, and that Chinese upgrade kit to give him the shoes and the longer back spire; and the Toyhax decals to give him a little more color; I didn't use all of them, just some red for his crest, and the top of his shoulder pylons, and the belt buckle... I don't need details that the Movie didn't have. And I have the DNA Designs set on pre-order, but I don't think I'll be using all of those.... just a few; picking and choosing.
RP, have you done any upgrades?
I've done similar work to him as well with the upgrade kits and Toyhax labels. I also painted the tank tread covers silver.

I really want this Galvatron figure
It definitely made me want to dropkick my old Universe Galvatron and make it fly off in like 12 different directions. I might just do that. I still have to fix and clean my Galvatron, so wish me luck on not destroying the shoulders.
I was lucky to get a kingdom Galvatron figure at my local target months ago. It was the last on the shelf and I to look at it carefully. Comparing it with an image of an misassembled Galvatron figure.

Bought this guy in October. Very pleased with it, except for the loose shoulder..but I don't Understand why he's so much larger than Megatron and Optimus from this line.
I really want this, but not sure if I want to take the chance with a QC issue. Excellent review.
I have it and I think is great for a G1 fan, but I think Cyclonus is better movie- cartoon accurate.
Yeah Cyclonus is the better figure, but this Galvatron is well worth it.

I skipped this one in favor of the Selects version. I prefer the Marvel Comics/toy accurate colors.
I didn't know Toyhax had labels for him, I have been wanting some.
To my understanding, they are still making them. But I'm sure we will see a set soon enough.

After 3 months of holding out I finally found him at target and maybe with the new shipment they fixed the shoulders but both of mine are good however on mine the seige ports are super loose and the cannon is loose
For his arm canon, try using his forearm instead of the shoulder. I noticed that it's not as loose there. If it's still a bother, try painting the Peg on the base with something like testors enamel paint. Give it a couple of days to dry but it should make it thicker when using it.

I have the leader class '86 starscream
Y'know for someone whose known for throwing hands before blasting, Galvatron deserves some intimidating fists instead of the flimsy ones he's left with. Still want to get his Purple version as the White Toy repaint was the only one left to preorder a few months ago.
I am actually one of the lucky ones who have a Galvatron with good shoulders. The battle damage is annoying and in my opinion unnecessary, since he is fresh out of Unicron's fires. Other than that, I think he's the best mainline Galvatron we've had so far. Also, I'd like to note that I find it funny that in order to transform Kingdom Galvatron, you kind of have to peel him like a tangerine.
Small correction: The shoulders are indeed good, but seemingly is the clip under his head on mine a bit too long and it blocks the 180 decree turnover and therefore prevents his transformation capability.
Galvatron is Switzerland's proudest citizen.

I want the ss86 starscream i don't have starscream but if I got earthrise starscream I'll switch heads and maybe paint the earthrise starscream dead colors to make a dead ss86 starscream. I also would get an upgrade kit for megatron to give him a flight mode and get the 86 starscream

I know that the characters in the war for cyberyron trillogy look like there toys but I don't remember galvatron looking like this in Kingdom
my solution to closed fists for holding things: strip down a grocery twist-tie to bare metal and use that to bridge the gaps.
You've got to wonder... where to from here? They've given us all the G1 characters that we care about now. No other set will best these

Hi. Great review thanks. One question; I have no eyesight, I'm totally blind, so I'm transforming this by feel. I think I've got it all worked out, except where the tabs and slots on the cannon and gunships are, so that they can attach in cannon mode. If possible, could you maybe describe where these tabs on the cannon and slots on the guns are so I can feel them and peg them in?

How dare you remove the spilt energon of his wasted enemies. The decepticon leader is always on the front lines. Any figure is Instantly less badass when you remove battle damage, that’s why I refuse to buy reprolabels for my WFC figures, they all remove the damage and it’s so annoying. Good review though

I’ve always wondered why when he was Megatron he could survive plummeting into lava on earth and not receive brain module damage but when he is plunged into again as Galvatron he does receive that aforementioned brain module damage?
The plasma he was dunked in on Thrull was different than Earth's lava.

So using that alcohol solution will remove the battle damage but not the rest of the paint you want to keep?
Use a Q-tip and be careful it. I wiped what I needed off with a paper towel after using the Q-tip. Just make sure it isn't dripping. 91 percent isopropyl can take paint off very easily
I've been staring at my Galvatron and looking back at yours throughout the whole video and I'm still not sure at all if mine has messed up shoulders or not.
Look at the shoulders and if the top of them are smooth, then they are good. They are supposed to sit higher, but if they are not assembled correctly, the top of them will have ridges.
