could you imagine comming from the west of ireland [like my self], nothing happening only dispar and distitude, depression, no money, living at home ect..., then moving to london at a young age, making a few quid, comming home after a few years with the few quid, and ur back to square 1. no where to go for a pint, same shit as what you had left for the first reason in the first place, what do you do? pack up and go back to london! and im not being funny here, but the same thing is happening in our generation right now! AGAIN! FACT!

Just like it was yesterday, great memories, happy days free and easy in all those places, room for improvement in the lyrics!!!
That took me back 30+ years, you grafted hard all week and had the craic in the Galty at the weekend, some good memories.
You'll remember my old friend, the late Johnny McCauley and his Trio who were the resident band in the Galty, that's sadly no more?
Good song and fine singer!!!!
Good song
I bet a few of those photos are mine as well!
It is a great song, this was one of the first ones I uploaded and the sound is a bit crackly at the beginning.
