Actually yes if only 2000km it's unlikely but the flow test will ensure the injectors are functioning and flowing evenly. You could find on the internet reports of racing and dead cylinders due to bad fueling of a failed/failing injector. I would check injectors after running the leak down test.
Nahh not yet I fixed the harness and it runs better but something still wrong I bought a new harness to put on the engine so I will try that next if not I think the ecu has a problem.
My car sometime feels like it's hitting the rev limiter or limp mode when I accelerate to a certain speed and goes away when I shift gears. Idk what it could be besides speed sensor being faulty or distributor.
The reason the distributor cap didn’t fit is because you have the wrong one. B16 and GSR are different caps.
Great install video by the way!
Ohhh thanks I didn’t know that. It’s just the one that came in the kit from marketplace. Thanks for the feedback.
Hopefully the Honda-Tech link can shed some light!
Hopefully the cap wasn't expensive, it's seems to have been a pain
I bought the whole kit off a guy on marketplace. They are $200 aus on their own.
Run a leak down test on the motor, verify the injectors via a shop who can perform a flow test/ultra sonic cleaning.
The injectors are only 2000kms old you think they can be blocked already?

Any updates on diagnosing the problem?

Surely you weren’t using that aftermarket dizzy from the start?
No I had the original one on and it was fine before.

Sounds like it could be the tune. There might be a few cells that need touching up. When you change gears the load on the engine changes.
