“I thought he was dead. I was sure I killed him!” I absolutely love Travis’s introduction in Seek-Locate-Destroy. Establishing his history with Blake was such a great way of showing just how dangerous he was.
The Series died a little when Stephen Grief stepped aside for the unconvincing Brian Croucher. It was a relief when the character was laid to rest on Star One.
Yes, with Travis going rogue there were various attempts to shoehorn the character into stories where it just wasn’t necessary. Off the top of my head Voices From The Past when I certainly expected him to be Shivan and once revealed the character does absolutely nothing (having done virtually nothing) and Gambit where Travis is taken out with one punch.
Yes. Stephen was a superb actor who could convey an air of absolute menace. A current actor, who could do well in a remake is Jeffery Dean Morgan, who played Negan in The Walking Dead
@@ewaf88 I say Both Jackie Pearce and Stephen Greif were the perfect actors, to play the 2 recurring arch-villains Servalan and Travis and they created characters that cannot be ever recreated and also the same is true of Paul Darrow as Avon he created an Avon who cannot be ever recreated and the same with Michael Keating as Vila he created a Vila that cannot ever be recreated either . In Dr Who Roger Delgado who played the original and best ever version of the Doctor,s Time Lord arch-enemy the Master created a Master that cannot and will not ever be recreated ever.
@@Eltonlaleham Well, if they ever do remake it, then the actors would have to just remind you of the originals, but have their own unique personalities
An interesting fact about Travis: He has one cybernetic eye, and a gun in his cybernetic arm... In a way, he is a HUMANOID DALEK! I wonder if that was intentional because he was a character created by Terry Nation?
I do say in B7 out of the 2 arch-enemies and principal villains, Servalan was the better villain and she lasted the entire 4 series I do say Travis really should have been killed off and slain in the final episode of series A Orac and then in series B arch-enemy Servalan should have been given an entirely new henchman with a new name to replace Travis that would have done series B more trade in billions of ways .

I love the story of Blake & Travis
@Thomas Farrell but wasn’t he secretly recruiting for the resistance against the remnants of the federation?
He’s introduced so well, it’s a shame that in the 2nd season he’s recast & isn’t as compelling. Stephen Greif was perfect in the role

RIP Stephen Grief.

Servalan's best look imo
IT'S ABOUT TIME They should Blake 7 on T V AGAIN.

They could do a great revamp on this.
I will say out of the 2 arch-villains in B7 Servalan the female villain was more interesting a character than the male villain Travis
Yeah, I *was* great cool, wasn't I.
Travis was such a punk. Complete clown.
i Am so happy Niderr got employment after working for Darvros. {guensis of the DARLEKS}
