Considering half the episode was filler the animation was deffinately an improvement on previous eps. Fingers crossed they do this awesome arc justice.
The fact Asta was the only one without a finished robe shows how little they actually respect him
That or it could just be them giving him a shorter one since having a longer one would make swinging swords a bit inconvenient due to their not being as much flexibility with a longer robe than their is with a shorter one

Mimosa's nice but tbh that's really all she's got to her as a character besides being blunt. The anime also spikes her crush on Asta to Hinata levels also to her detriment.
