I keep the boxes for my items under warranty or that I will need to have serviced (e-file, curing lamps, table lamp, etc). There are companies that include in their small print that the item must be sent with its original packaging for them to repair/replace under warranty. It really sucks because I am usually the first to throw out boxes, but I don't want to take that risk with my nail supplies.
Also, I LOVE those clear acrylic boxes from Target! I had the same hesitation when comparing the price to the frostier ones, but did a small splurge when I first found them. They work so well and I love how they stack. It makes organization so much easier and I'm so happy to have them.
I love these videos. It's always interesting to see how other people organize their work spaces and I love picking up little ideas for organizing. I'm really interested to see how the space is going to look with the pedicure chair moved out, even though it looks great so far!

I'm a box hoarder too.. but I put my empty boxes in my garage on a shelf. If I ever take a class I put my equipment back in the box so it doesn't damage my equipment. It makes me feel better I guess. Lol

I keep boxes (mainly for electronics) for storage and transportation. My lamps and e-files in particular, I get very paranoid about breaking because they're not cheap. I also -- because I'm cheap -- use some of the product boxes for polishes and such to store them in my drawers. I just cut the top off so I can see inside and organize by use/theme.

I'm currently reorganizing my salon again. I love you station tabletop size and style. I do a ton of pedicures, so I need to condense all that stuff, because I sometimes go to a client's house. Love these videos so I know I'm not the only one who can't throw stuff away! 💯👍🏻🤣🤣🤣
I have an idea for you! You know there is a cable thing going under your light on the wall, you can hang a fake ivy plant on it. You already have a lot of plants in your office. Maybe you can decorate the whole writing with fake plants. 🤗🪷
I never thought about having nail tech essentials like ibuprofen and snacks etc. I have one bag of cough drops. Lol now I plan on making a space for essentials. Thank you

I keep my boxes too but I flat pack them all and then I taped them behind my storage cupboard between the wall and the cupboard. I push the cupboard tight to the wall, you cannot see them, they take up no space, but I still have them.

The most annoying thing to me about these drawers is I can’t see what’s in the back of my drawers and I always forget .

There’s literally no good reason to have sooooo much of this. As a nail tech of over 20 years, I can guarantee that all of this is not even being used.
Seeing clients is not the only part of my job. I review and create content for nail brands and companies. Usually showcasing their newest products.. which means I need to have said products in order to create the content. Of course no one needs this much, I regularly declutter and give away things I know I will never use, especially to new techs who I know will need it most.
