Is this the best lens? In this video I explore what Sirui can bring in the cinema lens range. I have reviewed their anamorphic lenses in the APS-C and Full Frame Mars series and now this is their stab at the budget cinema lens range, the Jupiter series.

yo yo my man, it's a really good video I have to say. There is only one question. Are you using a reliable PL to E mount adapter? I believe it's Meike Lens Adapter PL-E, right?

breathing and chromatic aberation are the most important things to look for in a cine lens, right?
It really depends on your cinematography style. But generally low breathing is desired. The cinematographer the filmed “Jojo rabbit” actually liked the focus breathing in his shots and the imperfections it had

The most important thing is the look. Lots of DPs don't mind some CA and don't worry about breathing if they like the vibe.

@@SaxSpy one is 3D pop, also smooth bokeh, smooth transition from focus to out of focus, how the highlights bloom, what the flares look like :)

why nobody's talking aabout wobbling effect with this kind of lens using ibis and how to fix it, does anyone noticed?

Don't use variable ND filters. They make your subject lifeless. VND are two polarizers attached together and take off reflections, etc. off your subject. Use HQ ND filters instead.
