I was unsure about this one but after seeing all of the cards, I’m firmly in the ‘not for me’ camp. The artwork is just lovely and I am attracted to all of the astrological Moon cards but I’m not fond of decks that try to tell me about myself (giving me “I AM” statements, rather than allowing me to create my own through self-reflection) and/or decks which are more horoscope-y/predictive (“A new romance will happen”) in nature. Thanks for your [always] thoughtful and thorough review!
I have this deck and honestly this deck is direct and doesn’t hit around the bush. I have nothing but the best experience with it. I have a moon in cancer, so it could be why i prefer this deck.
AirFire18 I’ve never connected with any decks until this one and became frustrated and gave up on cards altogether until this came to me.. totally connected, and I have my moon in cancer as well! It’s powerful to emotionally connect to something like that, and I’m glad you have as well!
I always love your in depth and thoughtful reviews. When I go this deck I was a little disappointed with the imagery and was hoping to see something a little more dynamic. I did think it would be good for learning, but had my doubts about it being all purpose deck. I did do a reading with it, and was very impressed with how well it red just for an every day reading. I'm really glad I got the deck, I'm looking forward to forming a bond. Thanks so much for all you do with your channel in providing such insights for your viewers.
I adore these. I know nothing of astrology as I’ve never delved into it before but I’m guessing this would be a fun way of learning some basics. Plus, I also have a love affair with the moon! ❤️

Totally agree about having too specific phrases on the cards rather than a couple of generalised key words, although I think I could work with them by going with my understanding of the signs of the zodiac combined with the energy of the moon. Some of the extra information sounds interesting in the guide book.

If any of the words at the bottom of the cards are really annoying for you, you could use washi tape to cover the saying, and maybe write the keywords that you were thinking of. The washi tape will peel right off if you want later.

I totally know what you mean about the phrases on the bottom being to specific. I think it can certainly limit the vastness of the reading. For example, the full moon in Libra I personally wouldnt associate with beginning a romantic relationship. Romance belongs to the fifth house of Leo and Libra is so much more than relationships. Thank you for the comprehensive review! I was torn between getting the Queen of the Moon oracle cards versus the Moonology cards. Now I am sure that I will be getting the Moonology cards!
Queen of the Moon would I prefer bc is more detailed in moving Moon. I wasnt happy abt it bc I thought that 2nd edison will cover up whats missed out but was almost the same, just another art work. Both are very beautiful for sure and I dont regret to have them but for reason I mentioned I rarely use it.
O, that was 2years ago... Well by now you alredy have them. If you want you can tell how they work for you.

Thank you very much for doing this review. I think I've seen the New Moon in Libra card in a UA-camr's Pick a Card reading. Once she saw it, she was so excited & said this card means as it says. However, I agree with your thoughts. I can see how that literal & closed-minded interpretation of the New Moon in Libra energy can be irrelevant & even upsetting...like in a reading about a loved one who is recently deceased... If I get this deck, I will 'edit' the phrases on some of them... That won't be 'pretty,' but I would then feel more comfortable & confident in my readings.
I'd probably use white-out & a black marker, I guess? In your Supra review (which I also own and love), I saw that you added the keyword to the colored sacred geometry cards. Initially, I was shook, lol. But now I see that it can be ok, like how some people write notes in the margins of a beloved book) :)

May I ask for your thoughts after using 2 decks for time? I want to find an oracle deck that can use for multiple cases and I'm still weigh up the two decks

As a High Priestess (A Visionary & an Oracle That I Am), I have recorded your 'Love Affair" with the Moon by having you hold a Moon Card in my Tarot Deck. ;-) This will be a historic affair for sure. Books will be written about us and that will certainly be The Truth In Story. Okay, having said that this is a pretty neat deck. I love it being borderless and having a mat finish.

I find it strange that you think its strange that they use the tarot spread for the oracle cards. Cause.. i tried it and WOW was it accurate. If anything... if you have a strong connection to the moon...and cards can work. Regardless what they are.
Interesting as just watched the creator and she said she wouldn’t use it in a tarot spread. So good to know this
I have this deck on hold at Barnes & Noble. I’ll probably get it. It’s a beautiful deck. One suggestion I have is perhaps just cut the meanings off and corner the bottom edges.. then the cards will just be the pics of the moon, no keywords.

The Moon Oracle by Caroline Smith. I saw you did a review on that deck too. But I looked further into it and Caroline Smith’s deck is much more structured. More like apples and oranges in comparison maybe?
Would you recommend this or the Work your light oracle?
I don't have the Work Your Light Oracle so I couldn't recommend one over the other unfortunately!

I don't mind the phrases on the cards but it looks too specific and although the cards are beautiful I think they could of been even better. This may be okay to work with during the moon cycles and as fun to sit and play with but I don't know. I think they could have done better. I don't believe in past lives. I'm highly in tune with spirit. Or at least I know for me if reincarnation does exisit it's not for 40 years after death because I'm in tune with spirit so for me if it does exisit it's not for awhile after death. It's possible but I'm still a skeptic. It may be our choice to live again "in time" to learn more but we don't know for sure. I'm picky with my cards. I like for cards to look nice but also have meaning and use to them for my purposes and I'm iffy on purchasing these for the value I'd get for them mostly sitting on a shelf. Thanks for reviewing this set! 🌠

I’m surprised that they did not call the full moon eclipsed a bloodmoon…though it is the same thing because of the Earth casting it’s shadow on the full moon giving it a blood stained look
