Just realized why goldenfold felt so free of shame being a fly… flies eat poop and it’s normal for them
When the family is in Dr. Wong's waiting room look at her door. It says "Dr. Wong Family Therapy Coprophagia Recovery" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
All I can really say is the Rick from season 1, 2, 3, or 4 would have just portaled away and left the daughter to deal with her dad that commited suicide. This Rick didn't just run away after seeing someone's life getting fucked up and decided to make his death have meaning, and a positive meaning. He's come a loooooong way I feel
Rick been gettin better going to therapy. 😂😂Why tf didn’t he tell his damn therapist instead of Morty man???
You can’t talk to therapists about suicide without police being involved same with murder
I agree with the take that if you piss on someone's house, on them, and they tell your underage kid they want to give them a golden shower, you shouldn't be shocked that violence happens.
THAT SAID. I think the thing that is really fucked up is that Pissmaster, while trying to prove his worth, went to the Smith house to challenge Rick and then crossed the line - but so many people have times where they cross some kind of line. The difference for Pissmaster is that when he did it, Summer filmed it, and then it went viral. His dumbshit moment then becomes the subject of condemnation by billions of people on Earth and who knows how many more in the wider universe. The end result is that Pissmaster can't take the pressure and kills himself.
Now, you could argue that by picking a fight with Rick, Pissmaster was going to die anyway. But he met Rick after he'd made a commitment in therapy to stop engaging with challengers, and Pissmaster fought Jerry instead. Pissmaster could have walked away from that fight and reflected what it means to get beat up by a Jerry all by himself, and maybe become a better guy for it, but instead the public outcry about his actions drove him to his death. The therapy B-plot is showing that anyone, even the same Rick we saw literally destroy the entire Federation and comitting genocide against the Ricks on his revenge kick, can change if he's given the right opportunity and motivation. By filming the fight and getting Pissmaster condemned, Summer is technically the most responsible party in the family for Pissmaster's death and nobody says a word about it.
The way the show highlights the social media commentary on Pissmaster's social standing, both the bad and the good once Rick starts reputation repair, shows just how much damage social media can do when we use it to condemn random folks we know nothing about when they're filmed doing something shitty without considering there's a real person at the end of all the abuse. It also shows with Jerry just how quickly you can fall from grace once you're thrown into the public eye for something good - him saving 30 billion lives is completely irrelevant because nobody cared about why he fought Rick/Pissmaster before his "death" even though he didn't die and it was Rick, just that he did it and people communicated it. It's mirrored again in how quickly everyone switches from being proud of RIck for starting therapy, to shitting on him for not enabling Jerry to use his orb, to praising him for what they think was an act to prop up Jerry, and then shitting on him again for making the unwise choice to unload his emotional burdens on his grandson instead of his therapist. Rick shared his feelings, and they shit on him for it, and I think it's because that's what we're taught to do to each other now online.
In the end, social media was the villain in the story, but because it's not a person or a machine with a tangible presence to hate on, it doesn't get seen.
Soz about wall of text.
Jerry stood up for his family saved 30 billion people and continue to do great things
I don’t know why he came and piss all over there house like that but it doesn’t change the fact that jerry became a man this episode
Jerry did nothing wrong. All he did was throw hands to protect his family.
Except almost cause an orphan island to blow up over his petty want to force PM to join.
@@jamesfurey2054 I didn't praise Rick once in my comment, and second, Jerry didn't care about PM. Pissmaster, was trying to do a good thing, he was FORCING him into joining despite not wanting it. He didn't know it wasn't him until he already was attempting to stop him from saving the island.
What does being a Rick fanboy have to do with my original comment, at all?
@@amirfroggie8370 its was not a petty want for pm to join he was told to bring pm in or never come back, he also didnt know pm was gonna save the orphans
@@hakone1841 That's what he was doing, and EVERYONE, even his family was trying to telling him but he didn't want to listen. You, ACTUAL moron.
@@jamesfurey2054 We're not even talking about Evil Morty or Rick, we're talking about "Jerry did nothing wrong".
Which was false, and his own family was telling him to back off from stopping PM from taking the bomb away!
Jerry did nothing wrong.
If someone is threatening your family, you throw hands, you can’t take time to care about their sad backstory.
it it's that rick is addicted to fighting villains, he uses it as a distraction from alcoholism, being a bad father, being a shitty person, & facing grief of losing his wife & daughter. Rick needs to be the smartest person & better than God bc without that he'll have nothing to make up for being a bad person. w/o all these crazy adventures, he's depressed & could end up suicidal like pissmaster
There is a movie called Analyze This with DeNiro and Bill Crystal was fantastic
Mr string bean was by far the funniest thing that caught me off guard. Oh me, oh my. whats this, could it be? A piece of shit I see😂🤦♂️it's so stupid it's funny (I altered it a bit but you know the scene)
Wait...this episode is Rick "getting out" and his name isn't in the title...
Bro the whole Smith family so toxic, that where one of them is finally getting help and being a better person, they undo it all over petty reason lol
I honestly don't know why morty told Jerry. I've always had respect for morty, but that made me lose some respect for him. Like, when he went to tell Jerry I was just like "wtf? Why?"
He’s been having attitude lately later in the seasons, he ain’t so cool anymore but at the same time he’s not helpless
The same way Rick couldn't help but tell Morty because he couldn't hold it in Morty couldn't hold this from Jerry. I actually think it shows that they all need to be more honest with each other with situations like this.
He told his family because he thought Rick was putting it on him to tell the family, when Morty is walking into the house Rick tries to correct him too late.
@@snowpegasi out of all the explanations I've been given so far, this is the one I like the most. I hope this is the case because it means he wasn't trying to spite rick by telling the family or something
Rick. You have a therapist for a reason. Trauma dump on HER, not your 14 year old grandson. Rick learned a hard lesson that day.
This ep became hella dark 😂
Chainsawman reaction please
Lol ya'll yelling at a kid for not being able to handle holding onto someone committing suicide because of their dad
jesus, jerry not everything is a straight up parody or reference, just grasping at straws now XD
Happy birthday Rob 🫀
It's not Rick's fault that Morty is a little snitch.
Do you believe Jerry was right for beating up piss master? Let us know down!! Also of full reaction is now available on patreon! www.patreon.com/posts/rick-and-morty-6-75249555?Link&
Yes
Yeah, he was in the right when he was defending his family, but wasn't when he chased down Rick disguised as piss master when he turned him down.
