Yeah, most likely due to vandalism these will need a modernization.

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@brandonmiller6629They’ve haven’t made any replacement buttons ever since I filmed these and so on. The more old they are, the less maintenance they have so I guess this vandalism is one of the reasons for lack of maintenance.

These for sure indeed need a modernization most likely due to the vandalism that was done. The buttons are completely out of shape and are missing. These elevators still run okay but needless to say, they’re past their lifespan so I think this vandalism is one of the reasons for the modernization. These will have better cabs after the modernization which is very definite since they’re dark just like other older Otis Series 1’s.
