This "electronic sound" comes from the two speakers between the saxophone and the trumpet. These two instruments are only "dummys", they aren't playing themselves. The speakers (connected to an tube amplifier) are supposed to immitate these two instruments. The organ also has real wooden pipes at the back, but these only play the accompaniment tones.
@@misterroehre Interesting, I knew they were dummy instruments but I thought there were usually pipes that mimicked the sound, not speakers. I'm assuming this was a late model organ then?
@@aspensmusicandrestoration Yes, it's a newer organ from the 50's. Older models (30's) have real pipes, that imitate the saxophone. I think when this organ (the 50's model) was new, the imitator sounded a little more like a saxophone... But I also like the electronic, slight out-of-tune sound. 😅
Interesting to hear the song on a different organ!
What are those electronic sounding pipes? They're wild! I'd love to learn how they're made.

The Popcorn Song is created by Gershon Kingsley you know
Tell me what is the Popcorn song i love Popcorn 🍿
I don't know it's just a song. Maybe it should simulate how popcorn is popping in a song.
It's an instrumental piece from the 80s composed by Gershon Kingsley for the night club scene
The song "POPCORN" came out in 1972 by a group called HOT BUTTER It was a one hit wonder .
The electronic part needs some tuning.
The original Popcorn was played by hand and is not on-grid. This version sounds extremely robotic and mechanical 🤔, not as lively.
Because this arrangement is not very good. This one sounds better: ua-cam.com/video/LZYCLwExdvg/v-deo.html
