MY ex-husband. Was immensely talented. Died far too young. Lovely to hear that the music is gaining a wider audience. He would have loved this.

This is such an underrated album. You're lucky (if that's the correct term) to have known him.

He certainly was! Criminally underrated, but in a way - the lost classics mean so much more. Always come back to this album and enjoy a different tune each time.

Legendary, intelligent, cult album ... Roger Bunn is a guitarist, bassist, vocalist from Norwich (Norfolk County) (July 19, 1942 - July 28, 2005). One of the founders of the Pete Brown & Piblokto bands! and Roxy Music. In the 60s he played in the bands Saints, Bishops, Bluebottles, Giant Sun Trolley, Djinn ... This is his only solo album added in this edition with 8 bonus tracks (recorded in different years, both before and after the album). .. It so happened that here you can feel the influences of different Browns (James Brown, Arthur Brown, Duncan Brown, Pete Brown), as well as Van Dyke Parks, Donovan, The Kinks ... The author of almost all the lyrics on the original disc is John Mackie. In 1968 David Bowie recorded his song Life is a Circus. Roger Bunn was also known as a fighter for human rights, for peace

и Roxy Music. В 60-е годы играл в группах Saints, Bishops, Bluebottles, Giant Sun Trolley, Djinn... Это его единственный сольный альбом, добавленный в этом издании 8 бонусными треками (записанными в разные годы, как раньше, так и после альбома)... Так получилось, что здесь чувствуются влияния разных Браунов (James Brown, Arthur Brown, Duncan Brown, Pete Brown), а также Van Dyke Parks, Donovan, The Kinks ... Автор почти всех текстов на оригинальной пластинке - John Mackie. В 1968 году David Bowie записал его песню Life is a Circus. Роджер Банн также был известен как борец за права человека, за мир... Рекомендую.

Ja, good to know more about him. Also, from my side, a ty man. Feel free to say, a little piece of unnerst anding of who is who. It gets clear, what is happen ing, before the people get information about it. And, maybe surely the activities at the time of end a sensa tional decade, its had has,a footprint set.
Almost remember me, at the early works of Gandalf.
But without bigband sound. Nice to hear from. Thanks, greetings from me. The Trancematic2000™aka Gary

At 1:18:40, what song was featured ever so briefly before it was cutoff. The lyrics were, "Do you remember when we thought that we'd all survive? I remember when the best of us were still alive...."

"Piece Of Mind" by bassist/vocalist Roger Bunn is a work of 'exotic psychedelic free-jazz-meets-rock, East-meets-West, progressive and smoky in late Twentieth Century music history'. When the 1969 LP was originally released in the UK on the Major Minor label, Roger Bunn was already a veteran British musician spending the sixties moving through several outfits playing skiffle, jazz, beat, R&B, soul..whatever. He spent some of that time in Germany becoming a versatile musician on several instruments, especially both the electric & double bass. After the Piece Of Mind days he joined Pete Brown's band Piblotko!, played with members of Soft Machine, worked with Ornette Coleman, saw one of his songs recorded (though never officially released) by David Bowie and even became the guitar player in Roxy Music for a short period in 1970-1971, among many other things."

A blend of sounds from across the United Kingdom.
Vibes of Irish Van Morrison (Them) and British Ray Daviesv(Kinks) and Scottish Donovan.
Did the Brits keep this unique gem a secret ?
Great psych folk LP, for connoisseurs of fine psych

? Demos? If you actually listen this recording is great! Check out the song at 22:22. I imagine this GENIUS wasn't recording at Abbey Road. The Beatles could record 24/7. at the best studio on earth. Do you think this guy has/ had millions of dollars in 1969? Plus,I'll never understand WHY people post negative comments about art. IT'S ALL taste.
