- Three missionaries and three cannibals find themselves on one side of a river. They have would like to get to the other side. But the missionaries are not sure what else the cannibals agreed to. So the missionaries managed the trip across the river in such a way that the number of missionaries on either side of the river is never less than the number of cannibals who are on the same side. The only boar available holds only two at a time. How can everyone get across the river without the missionaries risking being eaten?

I mean from the state having (0,3,1) if we take 3 cannibals to right then directly we reach the goal state (0,0,0)

Can you please explain more about how actually we can implement it programmatically? Like to be more specific? Does the state space graph contain all the states that are not allowed? For eg 2 missionaries and 3 cannibals. My second question is is there any library that automatically creates the state space graph based on the defined rules?
I guess PATH COST must be 12, because we have to count from the first step it self from where we have sent one MISSIONARIES and one CANNIBALS to the right hand side, so probably that would be first move isn't it??
no, the cost will be 11 as the 1st operation is not counted when the boat is at 1 because nothing has moved yet
