It's sad that they won't be back again but I hope one day they decide to make more music I love them always since the first day I saw them as a little kid with my family.
I saw them do this song a capella in Davis not long ago. Chris Thile said they did it because the acoustics were so good at Mondavi Auditorium. Even more haunting and making more emotional impact. Every nuance and harmonic came out.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for posting this. At this point, I believe nearly 100 views are all on me. Goosebumps at the harmony. They performed this song during the encore at the Mesa Arts Center in Arizona just a few weeks ago. But what a gift, they performed it without mikes, at the edge of the stage to a hushed audience. Just thinking about it can move me to tears. I can only come close to that experience when viewing your video here. Thanks again. Groups like this don't come along often.
Such a great piece of music. No disrespect intended to the person who captured this, but it's a shame there wasn't an "official" music video made of this. It's so good. Haunting. Blissful. Understated. Restrained.

I was there and remembered that comment of his as well! Every goose bump was in attendance that night.

Thank you for recording, I thought it was a perfect performance and it brought me to tears! I'm glad I can revisit it now :)
