Im glad you liked, to me is a solid 8. While i love what theyve done with the dragons and the lore expansion around it (bonds, dragonkeepers, physiognomy, cgi and sfx). I hate the pacing of some arcs and some of the substantial character changes. Also didnt like them cutting Nettles and merging her arc with Rhaena. Many problems ahead, wonder how they'll make some key moments play out in their version. Cya in 2026 😅
i completely agree. I think if they had done that approach, people overall would've had more positive reactions towards the season. In ways I get the saving the budget for the final seasons because it's all gonna be action, but giving the viewers a little something at the end of season 2 would've been a nice touch.
Uhhh there's plenty of them on yt that are brilliant. Not discrediting this one of course. If you're interested there's Disputed Lands, GrayArea, Phoenix Ashes, Company of the Cat, Meera Reeds and others whose names escape me at the moment. Others that don't have their own channels but are regulars on other channels/podcasts.

Agree that they could have used the time better. It should have ended with the first battle (IMO) and left us wondering who would be left at the end

I like action but let's be honest, GOT's core appeal was awesome dialogue - the conversations with huge weight and consequences behind them.
