    I don't really know what else to say for this channel other than a huge thank you! These kind of videos are sooo rare on UA-cam and I can only imagine how much more someone could learn from the inner circle which I am seriously considering getting in.

    Kevin, I'm not really sure how to respond to this video. It was definitely eye opening to see how a process can be soooo important. There were many scenarios discussed with examples to get people in a better position. The final discussion points were likely the most helpful .... convincing people that they are important, skilled, and worth more. Priceless. As always, I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos and trying to get up to speed on so many things inside the Inner Circle. Thank you for this video.

    Man, thank you so much. This information you are sharing freely is incredibly empowering. Now it's on me to execute; and execution can only expedited with accountability. That's why I'm equally as grateful for your Inner Circle. I'm submitting my latest build to WDD Live. Ships end of next month.

    The really sad thing about this is I have a legit process but I've been charging the average price, and if I'm being really honest I barely started charging even for the average price point.
    This video was eye-opening for sure, and it also was the last straw, just signed up for the inner circle! And wow, anyone else reading this and wondering, just do it! That community is way more than just Kevin (even though that would be plenty lol)

    I still charge around $100 to $300 even after having 4 years of experience and still it was always harder to close a client.
    This video just blew my mind and I was assuming myself as an chef of a cheap local indian restaurant.
    Thanks a bunch for this video and this is the least I can say right now.

    Kevin; I just watched this video. Very informative. Thank you!
    What results, if any, do you promise your website clients. I.E. # visitors, keyword positions, # sales, # leads...?

    • @Gearyco
      @Gearyco  Рік тому +4

      We don't promise any results. We propose a vision and we work hard to live up to that vision. There are many things outside of our control --- the client's inside sales processes, whether they themselves deliver quality work, how they manage their reputation, and so on and so forth. We can't make any promises when we don't control the entire company. So, we lay out a plan and we execute the plan and we get the best results we can get. And we stick with them to pivot when needed.

      @@Gearyco Thanks Kevin for the video.
      This question from @lbohen is the most interesting for me. I find it the most critical aspect for a freelance professional.
      Kevin, you indicate at the beginning that the client looks for in the professional: experience, value, differentiation and RESULTS.
      What knowledge and skills would be needed as a freelance to be sure and convinced that what you budget for the client will provide satisfactory results?

  • @IstvanM10
    @IstvanM10 Рік тому

    Kevin, thanks for the great video!
    I have a question: if I construct my detailed process, should I put it on my website so everybody can take a look (the prospect would contact me because of that /// the competitors could copy it) or should I show just for the prospects who contacted me?

    • @Gearyco
      @Gearyco  Рік тому +1

      Either one. Depends on how it’s presented and communicated. If you can’t present it well on the site it can drop your leads. Just comes down to execution.

    Question. The $25k - $125k that you refer to is the Revenue for the agency but it isn't necessarily what you as an individual would pocket. I'm trying to get an idea of what the net profit per team member (owner, developer, designers, etc.) or even if when contracting work out....what that might look like. How much can a person take home?

    • @Gearyco
      @Gearyco  Рік тому +4

      In the Inner Circle I have a training called Profit First based on the popular book and system. It's the accounting & finance workflow I recommend. A very possible "owner pay" for a single owner in our type of industry is 50%. So if your agency generates $200,000 in revenue, you're pocketing $100,000 of that. If you can't pocket 50%, your expenses are too high or your prices are too low.

    • @RavishankarAyyakkannu
      @RavishankarAyyakkannu Рік тому

      @@Gearyco Is this 50% after paying a salary for the owner himself? What would be a reasonable salary that the owner can pay himself and still make 50% as profit?

    • @Gearyco
      @Gearyco  Рік тому

      "Salary" is based on tax law and the type of business you have. In the U.S. the owner doesn't need to get a salary if they have a simple LLC --- they can just take money out of the business (e.g. the 50%). They only need to be on salary if they're an S-Corp or C-Corp, at which point they want to be on the lowest possible salary and then take owner draws on top of that. It's complicated based on where you live and your tax situation.@@RavishankarAyyakkannu

    Mindset shift for both sides - I am referring to the part of the video where you compare the pizza shops. I personally know is normal what you were saying but impossible for me to convince a business about that. I have two projects I am working at and both businesses are clearly not interested in changing something. I will probably teach a 6 years old about that than a CEO :) They just want a website to bring customers in but they don't give a dime about changing their own processes and offer something better / to make a difference. Both are local businesses and both could double and maybe triple their revenues if they could step on their arrogance :) and listen.

      @@Gearyco I can only work with small to medium Romanian local businesses due to many reasons. The mindset and level of business education in my country is totally different and that is making me nuts sometimes. I see the potential of some businesses and their total lack of interest in at least being interested to listen :) but I am unable to make them reason. I resonate with all that you are saying in your videos and a bit sad I can not, at least for now, to achieve. I will soon join your inner circle.
